Jayden's POV
I'm happy I'm truly happy and that shocks me it's scary and exciting at the same time I feel like things happen for a reason
"Jayden are you okay" Kim asked placing her hand on mine I look at her smiling giving her hand a squeeze
"I'm good" I said looking around everyone was still talking Luke,Cam, and Nate were playing with Roscoe and everyone else was talking some one knocks at the door Kim gets up and opens it and let's Dereck and Chris is in
"Hey boys" I say and Chris hugs me smiling I laugh picking him up sitting in my lap
"How was school bud" I asked and he looked at Dereck then back at me I raised an eyebrow at him
"He got into a fight at school" Dereck spilled I looked at Chris with a straight face
"He was talking about Dad,Nathan and You what was I suppose to do" he said and shrugged I looked at him without saying a word
"Okay Chris everybody deserves a second chance this is your second chance but remember 3 times is not a charm no more chances do you understand" I said he sighed looking down
"Yes" he said going to play with the puppy Dereck sits next to me and Cisco and Carter come in shortly after Kim comes back and sits next to me grabbing my hand
"Hey Kim can you help me take my gifts upstairs" I asked and she nodded taking some gifts up the only thing we left downstairs is Roscoe we sat on my bed for me to rest for a little before we head back down
"Hey are you okay you seem.....different" Kim asked studying my face I look at her and smile nodding and she still studied me
"It's like for once in my life I'm happy there's still patches to fix with the family and all but I got one hell of a family" I explained to her she smiled and kissed my cheek repeatedly and we laughed but it was cut short by a knock on the door in the door frame was Carter I don't know what happened but my mood changed and I instantly stopped smiling
"Can we talk" he asked and Kim smiled at me I smiled back at her a little before she walks out and Carter walks in shutting the door after him he stands there looking at me
"I'm sorry I couldn't be there" he said looking down at his hands bullshit I call it
"You could have been there" I said looking at him I can feel my blood boiling a little
"Jayden I couldn't cancel the date with Dereck" he said sincerely but I shake my head
"When you're friend is in the hospital that should be your main priority" I responsed a little irritated
"But come on Jayden that wasn't even my fault" he said raising his voice a little
"It wasn't my fault that you were in the hospital"
"YEAH IT WAS THEY WANTED ME TO STAY AWAY FROM YOU so yeah it was your fault" he yelled then softened he blamed me for what they did I didn't realize that I'm the bad guy here wow so much for being happy
"go" I said quietly I look down
"Jayden I-"
"GO! just go" I cut him off and he starts walking out of the room I slam the door shut locking it and slides down it I hear whines from downstairs but they get closer to the door until they are tiny scratches at the door
"Roscoe leave me alone I want to be alone" I tell the cute furry animal on the other side of the door he keeps whining and scratching at the door but I don't open it he reaches his paw under the door and I sigh unlock the door and opens it letting him in he walks in I shut the door again locking it but this time I don't sit there I take of my clothes putting my jack skeleton pajamas on and grabs Roscoe putting him in the bed with me there's a knock on the door
