Deeds

Even the littlest piece of offering,
Makes my heart skip beats
We lean on the wall in front of the garden
And smile at each other's treats.

Even though we remain silent,
I know our minds speak a heap
Our expressions speak tons
Our eyes reflect, our thoughts deep.

Yet I want you to acknowledge,
How you really feel about me
But I'll be gone before you do
And hope, I, that you will understand and see-

How much I love being and doing,
How much I love spending efforts on you
If the sky turned a pale grey one day,
You'd be enough for me to turn it a beautiful blue.

Infatuation, some might call it,
Some call it the essence of love
I just want to be, with you, and perceive
A million stars, glittering up above.

The mere touch of you shall please me.
The effects of your mannered deeds-
May last longer than you'd presume,
Satisfactions- the taste of fulfilled needs.

And as we part for the day,
I know that you have always cared
Time will continue its role, but
Your deeds won't ever be compared.

I was actually inspired to write this poem by a real classmate of mine who was with me for only a few years though. So yeah . . .
