"NATALIE?" Nakita ni Vhal itong naglalakad magisa habang may dalang bote ng alak. "Natalie!"
Lumingon ito sa kanya at napatigil. "Oh, Valerian Fernandez number 2.6!" She's tipsy.
"Oh my goodness! It is really you" she feverishly said, parang fan.
Tinignan siya ni Vhal ng maige sabay inom niya sa bote. "You're drunk, Natalie" ani Vhal.
He was about to get the bottle when she move her hands away. "Hey! I.. am.. not.. drunk!" She tried her best to stand up straight.
He hissed, of course he won't buy that. "Natalie.." But she smiled and now he don't want to see that smile disappear.
Sumasabay ito sa background music coming from the bar na malapit lang sa kinatatayuan nila ngayon.
"Natalie, come. Ihahatid na kita sa kwarto mo" hinawakan niya ito sa magkabilang kamay at inalalayan.
Ngunit napatigil siya ng marinig ang sunod na kanta. Kahit si Natalie, napatigil..

She pulled his nape and embraced him. Hindi alam ni Vhal kung ano ang nangyayari but right now, nothing else matter.
He wouldn't trade this moment for something. How he wish that they could stay this longer--rather forever.
"Let's waste time, chasing cars, around our heads" he started to sing the song.
Naramdaman niya na mas humigpit pa ang pagkakayakap sa kanya ni Natalie habang sumasabay sa kanta.
"I need your grace, to remind me, to find my own," he continued.
"If I lay here, if I just lay here, would you lie with me and just forget the world?" She sang. Oh god, how he missed her singing voice.
He pulled away from the embrace and cupped her face. Nakita niyang may mumunting luha na nabuo sa mga mata nito, mga luha na hindi niya nais makita noon pa man.
"Forget what we're told, before we get too old, Show me a garden that's bursting into life" they pressed their foreheads together.
Sandali pa silang nanatili sa posisyon na iyon. It seems that they're inside their own world and in just one move, they could be waken up with the reality kaya walang may balak na gumalaw sa kanila.
