War

In the heavenlies, there's a war, against the souls, a spiritual force,

The demons take a side, angels the other, the opponents are somewhere inside,

There must be a winner, the choice is ours, what we choose in our darkest hour,

Sometimes we give in, sometimes we dont, sometimes the easiest is the sin,

Fight! We must fight, not to give in to the darkness of night,

Though the darkness comes, unexpectedly, it may even seem like harmless fun.

The demons entice, they know our thorns, the light of this world,

Their "commander" stands before the Throne, accusing with a smirk and tone,

He knows what could lead us astray, when we're not brave,

At our weakest moments, what we'll do, if for a second we forget,

The ruler of this world, all at his disposal, freedom of choice,

He's vicious, without shame, he enters without suspicion.

The Angels on our side, if we so choose, would war and fight,

Their Commander, at the right hand of God, filled with compassion and love,

Armed with the sword of Truth, he can do battle, against the demons "fruit",

At His disposal, the heavenly host, to battle for the chosen,

He knows where we're weak, yet He can grant strength,

At our defense before the Fathers throne, until we're called home.

The light or the darkeness, it's our decision to make,

Freedom of choice, it's all at stake,

Hell is won in the mind, Heaven in the heart,

Rush into love, hatred depart,

Satan wants to rip your soul,

Christ wants to make you whole.

Prayer and blind faith the only defense,

It's not much against the worlds sense,

The world can't understand,

What it is that God has planned,

It's about salvation and love,

In the end the choice belongs to us.
