When you knew someone in need
And you were too selfish to help
You went on home to feast
Remember it was God who blessed
When you feel like giving up
On someone who fell
You decide it's time for tough love
Did Jesus not save you from hell
The marriage you walked out on
The other who was with you through tough times
You decided it was time to run
Remember that your Jesus' bride
In your time of distress
Jesus never left your side
In need; it was He who blessed
In your infidelity, He still considers you His bride
