Chapter Fifteen

I walked through Lululemon with Mae, Claire, and Izzy after school. We had no school on Friday, because of teacher planning day. So we decided to come to the mall.

"Do you think Weston would like these?" I asked holding up a pair of shorts

Mae laughed, "No, those are so short. Wait until we go to the sporting goods store and you can get him some football stuff."

"Or golf." I added putting the shorts back and walking to the women's section

"So are you guys dating?" Izzy asked me

I shook my head, "Nope."

"What did he say after you blew up at Cora Monday?" Mae wondered

"Basically he was like, I like you and all this stuff and he offered to ask me the question. I told him not to ask me because I wanted to be on a happy day not after I just blew up. Then after practice, he came over to my house but he hung out with my brother. He did check up on me and give me my medicine and stuff, why is everyone is obsessed with us?" I bought up

Claire grabbed a pair of leggings, "Because you two are so cute together and you always post cute pictures together or subtly mention each other on snapchat. Why aren't you dating?"

"We don't want to jump right into it. Things never end well if you do that." I explained as I looked her in the eye

"Alright alright, let's talk about my Halloween party. What's everyone being?" Mae asked us

I went back to browsing the shorts, "Weston is being a cop and I'm being a robber."

"Shit, that's better than Houston and I. We're gonna be the Incredibles." Mae informed me

"Did you know when I was in third grade my whole family was the Incredibles for Halloween?" I told Mae

She shook her head, "Gonna act like I didn't hear that."

"I haven't decided." Claire told us all

Izzy looked at her, "It's Saturday, better quick pick."

"What are you being, Iz?" I asked as picked up the pair of shorts I wanted in my size

"Top Gun." She responded

I smirked, "That's funny, because my brother is too. Are you two dating?"

"No! I swear it was purely coincidental." Izzy said back "Should I get a pair of leggings or shorts and shirt."

"Shorts and shirt, unless you don't own Lulu leggings. Then leggings." Mae

I got a black tank top, the cutest pair of mint green shorts, and some headbands from Lululemon.

Then we walked to the sporting good store, since Hudson's birthday was on Sunday and Mae wanted to get him something. I just wanted to get Weston something just because.

"Grey or black shorts?" I asked pointing at the fleece Nike shorts

"Definitely grey, you'll thank me later." Mae winked

I looked through the sizes, "What size do you think he is?"

"I think a large is safe." Izzy recommended

I picked up the shorts and added them into the things I was getting him. It was just the shorts, a black Nike hat, and Nike elite socks. Nike sure was a safe brand.

"Alright, I just got Hudson all of this football shit that he's been hinting at." Mae said with an arm full of stuff

No shit.

"I'm gonna go pay for this." I told them as I went to the cash register

"Hey Olly, I didn't know you still worked here." I greeted him
