As soon as dance practice was over, I had to change into a purple off the shoulder top with skinny jeans and Tory Burch flip flops.

Then I had to do my makeup at every red light or stop sign because today was the day that my brother and boyfriend were officially signing their letter of intent to play football in college.

I probably didn't look as nice as I could have, but then again I had a two hour and thirty-minute dance practice.

I sat in the parking lot of our school's gym and took my hair out of the two braids. Then I quickly smoothed out my foundation with a brush.

As I touched up my makeup, a call came through on my phone and I clicked the answer button.

"Hey, angel." I answered as I put on mascara quickly

"Hey babe, can you make it? It's getting close to time and I really want you to be here - your brother and family too, I know you have a competition tomorrow and everything but - " Weston rambled

"Wes, I'm here. I'm just putting on makeup, so I don't look all gross and sweaty." I told him as I put on a bit of blush

Weston sighed of relief, "Good, okay. I'm coming to get you."

"I know where it is, you don't have to," I told him as I quickly put on lip gloss

"No, I gotta see my girl," Weston whined

I smiled, "You were gonna see me whether you came and got me or not."

"What I meant was I needed a few seconds alone with my girl. I see you." Weston said as I looked up

I turned off my car, unbuckled my seatbelt, and opened my car door.

Weston walked towards me with a subtle purple suit and an orange tie - Clemson colors of course.

"Aww, you look so nice, like a cute version of the Joker." I said getting out of my car

Weston smiled as I hugged him.

"How was practice?" Weston asked looking me in the eyes

"Tiring and I have to wake up at four in the morning to catch a plane to Atlanta with Mae. Plus I still have to pack, but don't worry because I'll stay up for the party." I told him

Weston moved his hands to mine and held them down low.

"Well before you fill up your schedule for next week, will you go on a date with me? Next Saturday." Weston asked me

I nodded, "Of course, I'm kinda your girlfriend. Why not on Valentine's Day?"

"Because it's on a Thursday," Weston answered

"I have Rallycat auditions next Saturday and it's like a three-day audition so I'm leaving for Clemson early Friday morning. It's Friday plus Saturday and Sunday if I make it that far. Mae is getting a hotel for us. Oh, my try out outfits came in and I can't wait for you to see." I reminded him

Weston looked confused, "Mae is going to Clemson?"

"Yeah, she had no people in New York. She'd have a lot of people in her corner at Clemson, plus she'd be the best roommate ever for me." I went on

"That's nice, but Thursday works fine too since it's actually Valentine's Day. Dress nice, because I'm going to get us a reservation at a super nice steakhouse. Coaching kids is really paying off, I've got a pretty penny saved up for you." Weston told me

"As do I." I added

I let go of his hand to grab my purse and close my door.

"Your mom was telling me how she decorated the house all nice, but I'm really excited to see the tryout outfit." He mentioned as I locked my car
