Alden was waiting for Maine in the lounge with his Design Assistant. They were going to meet regarding the five new housing projects to be launched in the second quarter. They were also going to discuss ways to launch the projects with the whole slew of marketing strategies.
Maine arrived shortly with Gab, who seemed to be cozying up with Maine. His hand was on the small of her back, and Alden noticed she was trying to move away from him but Gab insistently closes whatever space gaps Maine put between them. Alden decided to help Maine out. because cleary she was uncomfortable with the unwanted attention.
"Maine.......upo ka sa tabi ko, mas bagay tayo magkatabi......Charot."
"Huwag ka nga Den. Sayang si Maine kung sayo lang tatabi."
"Uhhh......if you don't mind, siya naman talaga gusto kong katabi," Maine said, smiling at Alden.
Siya gusto kong katabi kasi unang una, mabango siya. As in, feeling ko masarap mangudngod sa dibdib niya. Ang bango na mukhang baby pa. Masarap baby-hin, masarap padedehin. Ay, bastos...
She laughed at the direction of her thoughts.
"Care to share the joke?" Alden looked at her, smiling.
"Naku wag na. Game na let's start the meeting."
Alden discussed the five different projects in broad terms first, the strategic locations, how each project differs from another, the themes of each project, and the facilities each one offers. Maine listened attentively, typing away notes on her laptop.
"Thanks Alden, when can we start visiting the model units? I already have some interior designers and firms lined up to bid for the projects."
"Diba I took you there already? Bakit ka pa dadalhin ni Alden ulit?"
"O bakit, Gab? I designed those houses, I have a hand in the interiors. Don't worry, babalik ko sayo si Maine ng buong-buo."
Ay, naloka si koya kay Gab. Pero bakit ganon, parang lalaki siya bigla. Nagseselos ata sakin ito, baka type si Gab, hahahaha.
"You're laughing again. Share the joke, gurl."
"Nakakaloka ka Alden. Gahhhhh. You confuse me."
"Huwag ka ma-confuse, Maine. Guwapo lang yan pero harmless."
