Ross' pov

A could feel a blade brush against my neck. Stop... I thought as sky grinned behind me. The ground underneath us was cold and wet from rain. I looked down, behind me there was a huge drop. I'll die here! My wings flattened against my back and I shuddered with fear. "Stop moving" sky growled and I whimpered my squirrel ears quivering.

We both turned in shock as a battle cry tore thought the wind. Max! Max was soaring towards us with red and Barney behind him. A limp body in Barney's hands caught my attention. That must be ty, sky froze. Max had told me about his plan. To hide ty So sky would leave us in peace. Not working out, to be honest.

They landed in front of us and sky grinned.
"give me ross." I blushed as max spoke. His intense glare made me feel safe, some how,
"give me ty" sky rasped. They stared at each other.

Before I knew it sky shot up with me in his hands. I yelped in fear as a yellow light shot towards Barney and red, they're gonna fight!?
Red and Barney separated and Barnett was knocked unconscious from the sudden impact.
''No!!" Red screamed flying after him. Max let ty go and ty ran to sky. Sky froze and threw me off the edge. As he shot to ty. "Help!" I yowled as my wings caught rocks. Max flew after me and grabbed my tail.

The wind battled against us as we fell thought the air. I turned to face max as he grabbed my shirt
"We'll be okay!" He cried as he hugged me tight. I whimpered a bit as my wings separated, pain thumped through me. As max let go, his head hit a rock, "max!" I yelled as I used all my strength and twisted in the air, I trued to fly but I couldn't, and I collapsed on earth. Before I awoke a could hand touched mine.

Whhhooohooo!!! Nearly finished this book sadly. I'll update in two days. Huge plot twist...
