A/N: One kinda long chapter. Kinda hahaha~

**(A/N: Flashback to what happened in the early morning when Tsuki was ambushed.)**

Tsukiyomi's P.O.V

Groaning in frustration as I walked down the empty streets and made my way towards the Agency by taking the longer route, I trudged on at a slow pace as I shove my hands into my black hoodie's front pocket.

'I hate this. I can't go back to my much needed sleep after I wake up anymore.... Curse you insomnia...' I cursed in my mind as I huffed out a frustrated breath. 'Ughhhhh, it had to be this day my insomnia acts up... moreover, at this freaking time... it is 3am in the morning for god sake! I only slept for an hour!'

Kicking an empty can away from my path, I grumbled out incoherent words as I glared angrily at the innocent concrete pathway. If someone was to walk pass me, they would think I'm mad or something. Who wouldn't think that a teenage female muttering incoherent sentence to herself in the middle of an empty street isn't mad?

Still grumbling to myself while my foul mood persisted; I slowed my pace to waste time off.

Walking on the empty streets before taking a few turns and ending up at an abandoned warehouse in the longer route I'm taking to the Agency, my eyes caught sight of a small figure a few metres away from me as it sat on the ground. Upon noticing the small figure, my mood immediately lightened up as I breamed out in happiness.

'This day just got better.' I thought in my head as a wide smile grew on my lips.

Brisk walking towards the small figure, I closed the distance in a matter of two seconds. Squatting down in front of the small figure, it eyed me with curious eyes. The small figure was a cat, with cream brown colour mixing with stripes of white painting its fur. With the wide smile still plastered on my lips, my right hand moved to pet the figure on its head.

Purring under my touch, the cat rubbed its head closer to my hand. Gushing out in happiness as I squealed internally, I scooted closer to the cat and sat on the ground, not giving a damn about sitting in the middle of an abandoned warehouse in the middle of the night.

Picking the cat up from the ground, I held it up in the sky as I admired the little feline. A curious pair of eyes looked at me as the cat in my hands meowed once. Bringing it back down, I laid it on my lap as it cuddled there. 'Kawaiii~~!'

"Oh? You're a male." I commented as I smoothed out the cat's fur that was sticking out at a few places. A small meow answered back, confirming my guess for his gender. Chuckling to myself, I continue petting the small feline as I hummed to a song softly.

A thought came to my mind, making me stop humming the song. Hearing that I stopped humming, the cat lifted its head to look at me with a confused look. "Meow?" It called out, taking my attention from my mind.

Resting the palm of my hand on its back, I smiled down on it. "Ah, it's nothing." I said, "I was just thinking, why aren't you scared of me and what you are doing out here at this time."

Eyes not flitting from my gaze, the cat stood up abruptly and jumped up onto the shoulders before jumping once again and landing on my head, taking me by surprise. "E-Eh! What are you doing all of a sudden??"
