(A/N: A shorter chapter here. Still a flashback to what happened in the early morning when Tsuki was ambushed.)

Previously:

"Come on, let's go. Wouldn't want to stay here with dangerous people anymore right?" I called out as I held out my left hand for the little boy to take. Looking at my hand, he nodded his head in agreement and took hold of my hand before I carried him in my arms and started running in the direction of the Agency, thinking of patching up Takumi in the infirmary seeing him home.

Of course, not forgetting that he is an ability-wielder too, I have a few questions I want to ask him of when we reach the Agency's infirmary.

Tsukiyomi's P.O.V

Since the time was still very early in the morning, the Agency would not be open in a few more hours.

Knowing that no one is in the Agency at this time, it brought to me a huge amount of luck and gratefulness. I wouldn't want anyone to find out that I brought in a young boy with me; much less, a stranger.

Opening the entrance door after I picklock it, I pushed the door open with my foot and stepped through the door with my left hand pulling Takumi along behind me. But feeling him tugging my hand back before I could pull him in, I turned to meet his slightly cowering self as he stood rooted to the ground just behind the door. "I'm not kidnapping you, Takumi-kun." I reassured in a soft tone.

"Why... do you say that? You might be lying." He said with a frown on his face. With a raise of my right eyebrow, I gave him an amused look. "It is a good thing that you have your suspicion towards a stranger, which is currently me. But," Turning towards the door, I brought up my right hand and lightly tap the name plate on the door with my knuckles, bringing Takumi's attention to the name plate. "Ever heard of the Armed Detective Agency?" I said.

Upon hearing that name and registering the words he saw on the name plate, Takumi's eyes widened by a fraction. "Oh! I heard of that before! My parents used to tell me they came here to get a problem settled because the police couldn't do anything darn useful." He beamed out happily. "Is this really the place!?"

Chuckling at his enthusiasm and words, I nodded my head. "Yes, it is. The name plate says so no?"

"Do you actually work here??" He asked with a wide smile on his face.

"Y...Yeah, I do now." I flashed him a smile as I confidently stated so. 'Don't dwell on the past now because it stays there, Tsukiyomi. You're here now!'

"Then.. Why do you picklock the door to open it?" Takumi asked with uncertainty plastered on his face. Seeing this look, a sweat-drop formed on my temple.

"Well... Not all the workers have access to the key of this door." I said as I knocked on the door with my knuckles again. "Well, enough of this talks. I need to treat your injury Takumi-kun. Come on." Pulling him along, I closed the door behind us and locked it.

"But well, I do admit, the police can't really get the job done sometimes." I remarked back to Takumi's previous words as a certain brown-haired male cosplay detective came to my mind. A giggle resounded from behind me, making a smile spread across my lips.
