3rd Person's P.O.V
The car started moving and it drove out from the carpark in less than half a minute. With no destination in mind, the car drove wherever the driver drives it to go.
Silence filled within the car as the tension rose. The first to cut the silence was Ango, who was forced to drive by Dazai and was sitting in the drivers' seat currently. He glanced at the brunette to see him putting on an earpiece in his left ear before looking back on the road.
"What's that for Dazai-kun?" Ango inquired curiously.
"For the car behind us." Dazai's eyes looked up at the rear-view mirror, staring at the moving car behind the one he was in—the one that was occupied by Tsukiyomi and Shinse.
Ango frowned at his words. "Huh? What for? You don't trust Shinse-kun?" He let out a sigh. "... I can tell you that he won't do anything to harm anyone as long as your girlfriend doesn't attack him first. Nevertheless, I doubt he would. Seeing as they know each other from the past very well, I doubt they will pick a fight with each other."
Dazai's eyes slowly glanced down from the rear-view mirror to stare blankly at Ango. "Why would you say that?" The brunette asked him.
"Say what?"
"That."
"That?"
"Yeah."
"Huh?"
"As what you just said before. That."
A frustrated sigh left his lips. "... You have to be more specific. Otherwise I wouldn't know what you're trying to tell me." Ango asserted plainly.
Dazai kept quiet and only looked away. With his left elbow propped on the car door, he covered the bottom half of his face with the palm of his hand. When he was met with silence, Ango glanced to his left and peered at the brunette from the side mirror. Upon seeing that look drawn on his face, surprise managed to catch Ango off guard.
"That's shocking indeed. I would never think you will ever have that kind of look on your face."
"Shut up." Dazai snapped back under a second.
"I understand what you're trying to say now." Ango brought back the topic. "Well, if she's not, then why are you acting so close to her? It's rare of you to get that close to someone."
"People change, Ango." Dazai replied back dryly.
"I have heard that coming from your mouth multiple times already and I'm growing tired of it. That answer doesn't always go well with all my questions, Dazai-kun. There's always a better answer, and you know it." Ango could only sweat-drop at his dull tone. "And that doesn't sound convincing at all." A few seconds passed. "So why then? What made you change? You weren't one to get closely drawn to someone."
No answer came. The only change was the expression on Dazai's face – like he was mulling over something for a long time, trying to get an answer.
"What do you see in her?"
"......"
"Is she that important to you?"
