Chapter 2 : Training

--Next Morning--

Touka's POV

I opened my eyes as the sun shines bright on my face. Today is my day of so I'm just rolling around my bed.

After like a few minutes, I got up and went to my bathroom to clean myself, brushing my teeth. I grabbed some casual clothing and wore it.

I went out of my room, locked the door and went downstairs. As I reached the first floor, the door of the guest room slowly opened. Then a man came out.

"Hey! Feeling better now?", I said.

"Oh....I'm....okay...", he shocked at first and he shyly replied.

"Oh, so you're awake. Come in, I have couple things want to ask you. Touka-chan, you come in as well.", Yoshimura said.

"Ehh...Why me? *sigh* Fine...", I reluctantly entered the room and I leaned at a wall nearby.

"So, what's your name?", the manager asked.

"I can't remember pretty well and ARRRGGG!!!", he shouted in pain as he grabbed one side of his head.

I'm being scared of a while but I regained my cool quickly.

His shouting stopped and said "I'm sorry for scare you, the pain is unbearable, there's a voice in my head telling me my name is....."

"So what's your name?", the manager asked again.

"Kaneki....Ken, may I ask where is this place and how I get here?", he said.

"Okay Kaneki, this place is called Anteiku, a cafe. Regarding how you got here, here's the story......", the manager said what happened last night.

"Where you come from.", I asked him impatiently.

"I don't know.....it feels like a big part of my memories is missing.", he put his head down, sobbing.

"Touka-chan, please make a cup of coffee.", Yoshimura said.

"Okay...", I exited the room and went to the counter and make a cup of coffee.

--5 minutes later--

"Knock,knock"

"Come in."

I entered the room and put the coffee on the table. The white-haired guy still sobbing.

"Try drink this. You'll probably feel better.", the manager said.

He drank it and his face expression lighten up "Woah, this coffee taste very nice.", he said.

"Oh I forgot to introduce to you, she is Kirishima Touka, one of the best of making coffee at Anteiku.", the manager pointed at me and said.

"Nice to meet you, Kirishima-san.", he said as I gave a slight nod to him.

"Touka-chan, I give you the responsibility to take care of him. Look what he's capable of."

"WHAT, WHY ME AGAIN! Today's my only day off!", I protested.

"So I leave him to you, bye Touka-chan."

"WAIT!", Yoshimura closed the door before I finished my sentence.

I gave a death glare to him. "Get prepare in five, I'll meet you downstairs.", I said.

I went to my room, change my clothes to a long-sleeve shirt, knee-length jeans and a pair of sport shoes.

I went downstairs and he's already wait for me in his all black outfits consists of a black hoodie, black cargo pants and a pair of black shoes that he wore last night.

"So.....where are we going?", he asked.

"Follow me, cover your hair. It's way too obvious.", I said.

I lead him to a underground passage way.

"We have arrive.", I said coldly.

"May I ask....why we're here?", he asked.

"You heard the manager said, I'm here to test have capable are you.", I replied.

I stretched my body, making some cracking voice, warming up my body. He's just standing right there, doing some little warming up.

"So are you ready? Here I go.", I charged at him immediately I finished my word.

I delivered a kick towards his face but he swiftly dodge it. I delivered another kick and sent him few meters away.

"*cough* You don't have to be that rude right?", he said while getting up.

"Well I like it.", I said as I gave him a jumping kick, he defended himself and I landed on his arm.

"What? Now you treating me like a punching bag?", he sighed and his face expression changed seriously "Looks like I won't holding back."

He changed at me and delivered some straight punch. He swiped my leg and I fell down, he landed on me and said "I win."

I'm getting pissed off and kicking straight at his abdomen area, sending him flying in midair.

He landed on his feet and I'm already charging at him. We both exchange punches and kicks and both of us kept dodging.

"FUCK THIS! IM GETTING BORING!", I turned on my kakugan and bring out my kagune. I immediately started shooting crystal spikes at him.

"Since you decided to go all out, so as I.", he also turned on his one eye kakugan and bring out his kagune.

We charged at each other and delivered blow after blow. After a while, we both grasping for air.

"Let's call it a day, shall we?", I said.

"Fine.", he said as we turned back to normal.

We walked back to Anteiku after the training.

"This guy can really control his kagune pretty well. He can hunt by himself. Better keep him away from me.", I said in my mind.

I walked up the stairs, but missed a step and fell backwards.

"Shit!", I said in my mind and braced myself until someone caught me.

I opened my eyes and saw Kaneki caught me between his arm. I have to say he quite handsome. His face slowly started to blush. We stared at each other for a while until.....

"You can let me go now....", I regained my conscious and coldly said. "By the way....you smells like trash."

"Oh really, I'll better clean myself.", he awkwardly laugh as he scratched his head.

Kaneki's POV

--During shower--

"Where did I come from, why I can't remember anything?", I mumbled as I leaned my head at the wall.

I sighed after I turned off the water. I took a towel, wiped myself dry, put on the pants that the manager had prepared for me.

I put the towel over my head, exposed my upper body part and went towards the storeroom. As I went upstairs, I heard someone locking the door.

"Oh hi, Kirishima-san.", I said.

She looked at me, stunned by my appearance, she stared at my body.

"AHHH!!! WHY DO YOU DIDN'T WEAR ANY CLOTHES!", She shouted.

"Oh I'm so sor.....", I couldn't finished my sentence until a kick had landed on my face. She immediately went back to her room after that.

"Ouch! That's hurts....", I got up, rubbing my face and went towards the storeroom.

"She kinda scary.....", a thought in my mind.
