Chapter 8

Touka's POV

I slowly opened my eyes, the outside world is already lighten up. I rolled to the side. The white-haired boy is leaned against the wall, sleeping soundly beside my bed. I looked at him, a little smile appeared on my face. I brushed my hand against his silky white hair. He slowly opened his eyes.

"Morning....Touka-chan....", he said with a sleepy voice.

"Mor....", I couldn't finished my sentence until someone came in to my room.

"Morning onee-chan!.....", Hinami said and went silence immediately, looked at us with a grin on her face.

"Ooooooo... onii-chan and onee-chan... Well....enjoy your time....Bye!", Hinami said as she quickly exited my room.

We just stared at her and the closing door, our face are flushed.

"Emm...want some coffee?"

"Y...yeah, thank you.", he smiled at me, blushed like crazy and leave my room.

Few minutes later, he came in with two cups of coffee. I sat on my bed, sipping the coffee he gave to me.

"Today is my shift, I have to go to work.", I said as I got up from my bed.

"No...get some rest, I'll take care the rest.", he stood up, blocking my way.

"Bakaneki, you really think I'm that weak, I'm okay now.", I protested.

"Are you sure? Well then....", I looked at me with concerned.

"I still can kick your ass tho....", I jokingly said.

"Well get change then...", he laughed as he slowly wrapped his arm around my waist.

"I'm really glad that I met you...Touka-chan...", he whispered at my ear.

"Yeah...I know it....", I said as he gave a kiss at my forehead and continued to hug me.

"Enough......Kaneki....", I'm getting impatient. "Get change."

"Okay!", he said as he leave my room.

I sighed, went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and changed into my uniform. I closed my door and walked out to the cafe area. He's already out there, taking orders from the customer. I looked at him, the smile across his face when he served the customers. I smiled and went to the counter to finished the orders by the customer.

"Touka-chan, one latte with rabbit art, please.", he said.

I handed over the finished latte art to him, he looked at it and smile a little.

"Why so funny?", I frowned at him.

"It looks beautiful, just like you...", he said as he took the cup from me. My face started to blush slightly.

"You looked cute when you blush... *laugh*", he said as he gave the latte to the customer.

"Bakaneki.....", I mumbled under my breath as I continued to make coffee.

"Oi Kaneki, I heard you and Touka are together, is that true?", Nishiki came out of nowhere and asked Kaneki.

"Huh...?", he stunned by Nishiki's question.

"Oi shitty glass, start working! Okay?", I yelled at him.

"Ooooooo.....so Hinami-chan is right...you both are really together.", he said with a grin on his face.

"Senpai...! Yeah....we're kinda....sort of....together...", the white-haired man timidly said as his face flushing red, scratching the back of his head.

"*laugh* I knew it.....", he laughed as he walked towards the staff room. Kaneki and I just stood right there, stared at each other.

"Oi Nishiki! I'm going.....", just I want to yelled at Nishiki, Kaneki stopped me halfway by covered my mouth with his hand.

"Mmhpp...", I struggled to talk but his hand still on my mouth.

"Touka-chan, don't start a fight, okay?", he pulled me closer and whispered at my ear.

I nodded as a sign of defeat, he smiled as he slowly removed his hand from my mouth. But I still gave a death glare towards Nishiki. We continued to work afterwards.

--Few hours later--
Kaneki's POV

"We'll take it from here, enjoy your rest.", Koma said, as Irimi and Nishiki came out from the staff room.

"Okay, thanks.", I said as I went upstairs to my room. I entered my room, desperately undressed myself and have a shower in the bathroom. I went out wearing a black tank top, black pants. I sat on my bed, started to read the book I buy at a nearby book recently.

"Mmm...quite nice though...", I said in satisfaction while reading the book.

*Knock Knock*

"Come in.", I said.

"Emm...Kaneki.", I didn't looked at the person standing in front of my door because I'm too indulge in the book. Next thing in know, there's a pillow landed on my face. I rolled down of my bed, lying upside down, looked at the person standing at my door.

"Oi Kaneki, at least pay attention to the people entering your room, okay?", the violet-haired female ghoul coldly said.

"Oh...hey....beautiful, what's the matter?", I said as I slowly crawled towards her, curled up at her feet. She squatted down, handed me a piece of paper.

"My trial exam is near so.....I need you to revise all the subjects with me.", she said.

"Okay.", I got up and walked to her room with her. I sat down beside her desk, stretching my body. She put a stack of homework and past year question on her table.

"Oh no....today is gonna be a tiring day....", I said in my mind as I gave a bitter smile to her.

"So....let's start...", she said as she sat down.

"Wait a second....My hair is bothering me.", I grabbed a rubber band on the table and tied my hair into a man bun. I looked at Touka, she puffed her cheek as she tried not to laugh.

"Just laugh it out....", I said with a despise face.

"Pffff*laugh*...", she pointed at me and laugh at my hair.

"Enough....just start okay?", I ignored her and grabbed the paper to start the lesson.

--Few hours later, it's already nighttime--
Touka's POV

"Okay, I think it's enough for today.... hmm, Kaneki....Oi Kaneki!", I said as I noticed Kaneki is already asleep on my table.

"Hmm...what, Touka-chan?", he quickly woke up and looked at me.

"I said it's enough for today, you're tired, go to sleep. Okay?", I said.

"Huh? I'm lazy to go back.....how about we sleep together?"

"Wha-", I couldn't finished my sentence as he already picked me up in bridal style and put me on my bed.

"Oi Kaneki!", I yelled at him. He closed the lights and he squeezed his body into my bed.

"Goodnight Touka-chan!", he said as he kissed my cheek and went asleep quickly.

"*sigh*...Goodnight....Bakaneki...", I whispered as I gave a smile to him. I covered ourselves with a blanket and drifted into my dreams.

Sorry for late update, homework and projects are eating up my time. So I'm apologize for it.

By the way i have watched the Tokyo Ghoul live-action movie, it's really nice for a live-action adaptation movie.
