Chapter 16

Touka's POV

We walked to the table where Ayato enjoyed his coffee and sat down.

"Ayato....explain why he's with you.", I said.

"Fine....I'll explain.", he said.

"Okay....this is what happen last night. *clear throat* Yesterday Aogiri Tree decided to launch an attack on the covert CCG base at the 23th ward."

Flashback

Ayato's POV

"Squad A, B, clear everything on the left. Squad C, D, on the right.", I said.

"How about you?", one of the squad member said.

"I'll take everything on the front.", I said as I walked along the corridor. I noticed there are several CCG investigators ran towards me with their quinque, I brought out my kagune and shoot crystallized shard towards them and they fell down. I walked and I smell a familiar scent at the room beside me.

"It can't be him.", I mumbled as I looked at the name displayed outside the cell door.

Subject 993 (Kaneki Ken)

"So my sister fall for this douchebag...", I sighed.

"AHHHHHH!!!!", I heard someone yelled in pain at the end of the corridor. I ran towards the end and saw a big empty chamber with a seat at the center of it. I looked at the seat and saw Kaneki is strapped on the seat and one researcher is operating some sort of a machine.

"Hey!", I said as I flew over and killed him and abort the process. I untie him and he looked at me with anger.

"Oi....I'm here to get you out.", I said as his face expression slowly changed anger.

"Oh shit....", I mumbled as he used his kagune tentacle to grab my feet and threw me towards the wall.

"Did he went insane?", I said as I groaned in pain. "Fine, let's fight him for a while."

He leaped towards me as I dodged swiftly as he tired to hit me with his kagune. He also dodged as I shoot kagune shard towards him. Then I lose my balance and fell onto the ground. He jumped into the air and charge towards me with a open mouth. I lifted up my arm to protect myself as he landed and bit my arm.

"Oi! KANEKI! Did you want Touka to see you in this condition? What will she think if she sees you right now?", I yelled as his action ceased and his kakugan slowly fades away and slowly became normal again.

"Ayato....?", he said.

"Yes...I'm Ayato, Touka's little brother. Now go before it's too late.", I said.

"Why do you let me go?"

"Because you're the only person who makes Touka happy besides our father.", I said as I gave him a piece of paper.

"What's this?"

"Go to this address, I'll be there in a day or two.", I said as he gave me a smile and ran towards the big hole at the top of the room.

"She'll be happy now, right?", I mumbled as he left.

Flashback end

Touka's POV

"As the Aogiri Tree attack the base, all of them just panicked and one of them decided to cleanse me, wipe out everything inside my brain and turned to into their ultimate weapon.", Kaneki said. "But luckily Ayato came in the right time...."

"You should be thankful tho....you even bit a chunk of my meat...", Ayato said.

"*laugh* I'm sorry....I can't control myself during that time.", Kaneki said as Ayato frowned at him.

"Well....My job is done here...time to head back.", Ayato said as he stood up and walked towards the door.

"Wait....Ayato!", I said.

"What?", he frowned at me.

"Thank you.", I said as I gave him a smile.

"Hmph...that's the first time you thank me in years.", he chucked. "Oh one thing, Yoshimura-san, your coffee are as good as always. So....bye!"

He opened the door and left the cafe, probably never came back or came back in a different purpose but I'll always welcome him back for a cup of coffee.

*At night*

"*sigh* Where's that stupid Nishiki? Why I have to done all the work.", I mumbled as I cleaned the already empty cafe alone.

"He's finally back and I still need to done all these crap.", I kept mumbled until I finished washing all the cup. I almost dropped the cup after I saw Kaneki stood behind me, leaned against the wall, smiled at me like a idiot.

"You really scared the shit out of me. Want me to kill you?", I frowned at him.

"Come on...I'm just came back and you're trying to kill me.", he chucked.

"What do you want?", I crossed my arm and glared him. He smirked as he walked towards me.

"Just want to see my beautiful girlfriend....", he hugged me as he whispered at my ear.

"That's it? I thought you want more.", I teased him.

"You ask for it, Touka-chan....", he said as he pulled me up and pressed me against the counter as we kissed passionately. We separated for a while then immediately reconnect our lips, we kissed for minutes until both of us ran out of breath, panting while looked at each other in the eyes.

"Let's take this to my room, shall we?", I said seductively.
