Summer Holidays Finn Wolfhard X reader

Day 8

Your POV 

Me, Finn and all the others all went to the park just outside the resort. 

"Hey, can I push you?" Finn asked me walking towards the swing that I was on 

"Knock yourself out" I said looking back at him

He started to push the swing until it was almost going in a full circle, I was laughing so hard!

Wyatt and jack were attempting the monkey bars while Jaeden was secretly filming them. The swing started to slow back down, when it stopped Finns arms wrapped around my shoulders from behind.

"You's two do know that we are going home tomorrow right" Jack shouted obviously cringing at us and still gripping on to the monkey bars. I looked back at finn, his eyes looked sad. I had told myself that this was going to be a holiday to remember, and it was! but not in the way I had imagined. 
"you's can still facetime and stuff right?" Jaeden said. I hadn't really thought about how things would work out after we went home.

"I guess" I replied

 "We can like go on holidays and see each other" I said but i didn't believe it.

"WOOOO HAHA I DID IT!!" I heard wyatt yell at jack as he reached the end of the monkey bars

"I want a re-match" Jack said "Hey y/n, Finn do you wanna join in?" 

"Yeah" Finn said climbing up the stairs that lead to the beginning of the monkey bars. They had a sticker on the side saying 'XTREME MONKEY BARS' because they went on for ages and they were weird shapes so it was really hard to complete them. 

"I'll give it a shot too" I shouted making my way over 

We all queue up for a shot and Finn puts on some music on his phone

~~~time skip~~~

I just met my parents for lunch and now Finn wants to see me at the beach, its where we spend most of our time, today was going so quickly, I just want time to stop, I don't wanna go back home. I see Finn running towards me holding two ice creams.

"here have one" He said holding out his arm so that I could take it

"Wow! Its massive!" I said 

(The ice cream ya nasties)

"Yeah, they are selling huge ones in the ice cream truck over there" He said pointing to a brightly coloured van 

"Thanks Finn, you're an absolute babe" I said giggling, I didn't mean it in the romantic way but hearing the word babe made his face go red.

"I know" he said still slightly pink "Jack is over there with his parents so can we walk a bit faster" he added. Its not that we didn't like jack, he is one of the funniest people that i have ever met, it's just that we wanted as much one on one time as possible before we had to leave tomorrow

"Yeah, Jack really likes you, you know" Finn said laughing. Over the 24 hours that we have known each other me and Jack have become good friends, it's a shame that i wont see him either but i'm even more devastated about Finn.

"yeah, you have cool friends" I said

"See after this holiday you need to meet the stranger things cast when we go back to film season 3!" I laughed but I knew that it wasn't going to happen (or was it????.....I'm kidding)

A couple of girls came up to us and asked for a picture with Finn, I took the camera and took a couple of photos of them. One of them kissed his cheek, that fucking hoe. I'm joking, she seemed like a really nice girl but I couldn't help but feel jealous, luckily Finn wasn't into it asked told her that he didn't want her to do that. 

"I took a few so you have extra" I said handing the girl her phone back 

"So are you two like dating then?" She said taking her phone back and putting it in her pocket 

"Uhhh" I looked up at Finn because I wasn't sure, we talked about it but I was still a bit uncomfortable answering it because I didn't know if he wanted people to know.

"Yeah" He answered and I smiled

I walked over to him after the girls ran back to their families I took my phone out of my pocket and my eyes widened at the amount of notifications I had 

Finn look I said holding up my phone at him

"Oh I tagged you in a picture I hope you don't mind" he replied looking worried 

"Its fine" i said looking through some of the comments "look people have already made ship accounts for us." 

"Thats funny" he said having a look through their pictures 

"I guess I have to post a picture about you now" I said taking a picture of the sky and tagging Finn 

we sat on the sand and Finn started playing with my hair, It made my stomach flutter when he first touched it. 

"your hair is so soft" He said pulling his finger between the strands. 

"Thanks" I said turning round and running my fingers through his hair too "not too shabby" I said

"I love that" he said closing his eyes

I gave him a little peck on the nose then lied back on the towel that we had laid out. out of the corner of my eyes I saw Finn staring at me, I pretended not to notice but i couldn't help but smile.
