Summer Holidays Finn Wolfhard X reader

Day 5.5

Your POV 

I felt my phone vibrate on my leg so I launched myself towards it and quickly pressed answer when I saw who was calling

"Dude, why did you hang up on me" Finn said on the other line

"It wasn't me, my phone died" I said slightly annoyed with him "Just tell me what is going on please" 

"Uhh, I dont know if you remember on holiday when i said that you could meet the stranger things cast one day" he said sounding nervous

"Yeah" I replied, intrigued

"Well filming wasn't supposed to start for another week but something came up last minute and they needed me over in Atlanta as soon as possible" He said

"Oh well have fun i guess" I murmured into the phone

"Thats not it though" He said enthusiastically "I got you tickets if you wanted to come to set with me, i know that you like the show... but its okay if you dont wanna go, I just thought that since I left-" 

"OH MY GOD YES"  I yelled interrupting his rambling 

"yes? Thank god. uhh If im right my mum gave your parents the tickets so they already know about it it was just up to  you"

"Thankyou so much Finn this is. wow. uhh" I stammered, struggling to find the right words to say

"Who are you on the phone to?" a voice said from the phone

"Oh its the girl I invited to come see the set" Finn replied 

"Cool" The voice said followed by lots of rustling and a "NO" from Finn

"Hi i'm Noah and you dont need to tell me your name cause i already know it since Finn hasn't stopped talking ab-" suddenly there was a crash, I think that Finn knocked the phone out his hands. I laughed to myself and hung up. I sat there for a moment stunned out of my mind I was gonna meet the cast of stranger things AND  hang out with Finn for longer than I expected 

~~Time skip~~

I clutched my suitcase and scanned the room for a familiar face. Hey, there's Finn! I ran up behind him and shouted "boo!" but he didn't even flinch he just turned around. His eyes lit up when he saw me and he pulled me in for a hug.

"missed you" he whispered which made me smile "Let's get to the cab"

"Okay" I said grinning 

We got in the cab and drove off to the hotel that we'd be staying in. Finn said that all the cast would be staying in the same hotel room but we all got seperate bedrooms. Since I wasn't part of the cast and me coming was very last minute I didn't get a bedroom of my own but the sofa was a decent size so i could sleep on that. 

"This is your stop kids" The cab driver said with a toothy smile 

"Thanks" we said in unison as we climbed out of the car 

I hauled my suitcase through the doors and rolled it across the polished floor. this hotel was stunning, we were on the first floor so we didnt have to go up the stairs that where so high up I lost count of the flights. 

"Let me help you with that" Finn said looking at my battered suitcase 

"Thanks" I said standing back so that he could easily reach the handle 

I pushed the door open and walked into what i assumed was the living room, It had a full length sofa and the biggest tv that i had seen in my life. Two heads bobbed up from behind the sofa

"Your Y/n aren't you" Millie said with a grin, I nodded my head and smiled at her.

"Well I am Millie and this is Sadie" She said excitedly running towards me

"Yeah I know I love the show!" I said, I felt my palms getting sweaty already (mom's spaghetti) because I was so nervous to meet them. 

"Thats so cool! We were going to go to starbucks If you wanted to come?" Sadie said grinning, I looked back at Finn who I already said that we where going to watch a movie when I arrived, he shrugged his shoulders looking sorta dissapointed. I didn't wanna let Finn down no matter how desperate i was to be their friend, so I said 

"Maybe not today cause i'm a little tired from traveling but next time okay?"  I saw their faces drop but they said that they understood and then left.

"Thanks" i hear a shy voice say behind me 

"Dont sweat it, I made plans with you first" I say turning around to look at him, he smiled at me and leaped onto the sofa. I sat down next to him so our shoulders where touching and Finn started to scroll through netflix 

"OHHH" He shouted making me jump "Do you wanna watch the Gremlins?" 

"Okay" I say "Isn't that kind of a christmas movie though" I giggle

"Yeah but whatever" He says nudging me with his elbow

He clicks on the movie and we get comfortable, about halfway through the movie I heard him yawn and dramatically stretch his arms, then he brings his arms back down but one of them is over my shoulder. I look up to him and snigger, real smooth wolfhard.I get back to watching the movie but I can't really concentrate because i'm also freaking out about what is on my shoulder right now. 

Thats when I feel my eyes getting droopy and my body relaxing it was quite a long flight and it got pretty late so i fell asleep

Finn's POV

Before long I felt y/n's head resting on my shoulder I took a look at her and realised she was sleeping, I wasn't sure if I should stay where I was or move her into a comfier place but risk waking her up. I eventually decided to move her because I didn't want my friends to come back and tease us about it, we are just friends i think. I put down a pillow and rested her head on it then I got a duvet and put it on top of her 

"Sweet dreams"
