Hey Smurflettes

So, I'm back at it again with trying to get my books published. This time, I've uploaded two of them on Inkitt. They're part of a series (Book 1 & 2) and they're a teen fiction series.

I need your help to get them published. I have to reach a certain number of reads (6000) on the site for them to be considered. Please check them out and share this post with your friends and family.

I was pacing, probably wearing down the carpet. Olivier had long given up on trying to get me to calm down. He'd accepted that it wasn't an option until I understood what the hell my mother was doing here and how she'd gotten here to begin with.

"So, according to her phone, she saw an article on you two while we were back home, but judging from her browser history, she had difficulty finding you and getting herself here. It looks like she got a new credit card to get funds to fly here. I just called Gladys and it turns out mom left in the middle of the night and they've been looking for her this entire time. They didn't want to worry us yet, hence why they hadn't notified us," my brother explained as he walked into the room.

"Is there anything that gives a clue on where she went after she landed? There's no plane that serves this much alcohol," Olivier questioned.

Richard shrugged. "There's nothing here, but knowing her, she probably slept with one of the flight attendants and that's how she got the alcohol."

It's not like what he was saying hadn't happened before.

"I want her out of here. I can't deal with this right now," I said, pacing some more.

"Beautiful, are you sure? She looks like she needs help," Olivier argued.

Except he knows nothing.

I scoffed. "The last thing she's here for is help. She's either here for money or to cause unnecessary drama in my life. Of course, she couldn't just let me be happy this one time in my life."

"I'm not going to pretend I understand what's going on here," Olivier commented.

My brother sighed. "Look, you and I know her like the back of our hands, so we know that her intentions are selfish ones, however, I think we need to hear her out. She did after all fly all the way here."

"After finding out that I'm in a relationship with a rich man. I'm not buying anything she says Richie," I told him.

"I don't expect you to, especially you of all people, but she's here now, and I highly doubt she can afford to take herself home, so we may as well deal with her," he pointed out.

I looked to my fiancé and he shook his head. "I'm not doing it."

"Please," I pleaded.

"Forget it Rose. I'm with your brother on this. Like I said, I won't pretend to know what's going on here, but I'm confident that I'm not getting in the middle of anything until I absolutely have to," he replied.

"I hate you both right now," I told them.

"You carry on hating me while I try and figure out what mom's motive is here," Richard said before walking out of the room.
