Lauren: hows samantha?

Alex: crazy, weird, cute, as she always is.

Lauren: listen Alex I need- wait, cute? Do you like or something?

Alex: I'm developing feelings for her. She's always hanging out with me, and it's clear that she cares.

My heart sank.

Lauren: cool. So, are you ever going to tell her or?

Alex: I could never! But I wonder what our ship name will be!

I've always imagined me and Alex's ship name. Laurex.
But laurex doesn't exist. It will never exist.

Alex: ooh maybe salex! That sounds like it could work!

Laurex sounds way better.

Alex: and this is one of the last days of high school, so this could actually be real! I mean, we aren't going to college, so we might get married!

My nightmare is coming true.

Alex: but I can't jump that far. Anyway, you were saying?

Lauren: uhhhh mrs.kelly is coming!

Alex finished and I finished, last. And threw up a little.

Alex: are you ok???

Alex helped me up and I smiled

Lauren: now I am.

After running

Mrs.kelly: GUYS!! So the Person who threw up  was Alex!

Alex: what? No!

Lauren: it was actually-

Kelly: eyyy jimmy!

We all turned over to jimmy who was stretching, getting ready to kick Alex where it hurts
Oh you know what I'm talking about.

Kelly: alright jimmy! KICK HIM WHERE IT HURTS!!

Jimmy took a swing and Alex dodged it

Kelly: ahah! We have a dodger!

Jimmy took another swing and Alex dodged again,then I jumped in at the right moment for jimmy to kick me in the ribs.

Kelly: OH!! OH MY GOD THAT MUST'VE HURT!!!!!

It. Hurt. Bad.
It knocked the wind out of me. Bad.

Alex helped me up. Again. Then carried me to the nurses office.

One look at me and she knew something was wrong.

Nurse: Alex I need you to stay here!

Alex: I need to meet Samantha in a couple minutes sooo......

Nurse: fine go.

I watched alex walk out of the room and my Conscience told me to go after him.
