I stood near the edge of the cliff, the breeze blow through my (h/l) for the first time in a while. Maybe too long, I thought. (ITS BEEN SO LONG)There were still scraps of what was once my brother's robot, but I didn't really care. What happened that day was in the past, but I couldn't help thinking that he was hunting for Edd Matt Tom and me.
Or mainly me to be exact... I decided to sit, since the journey here kinda tired me out. My (s/f/c) motorcycle was a few feet behind me, but I wasn't gonna use it anymore. Or so I thought. I replayed this morning's events in my mind, as I stared out at the almost setting sun...
Flaaaaashbaaaaack (to this morning)
I rolled off of bed, my h/l h/c a little messy from my sleep. I put on my gradient f/c hoodie and was about to go make breakfast when I heard a knock on my door. "(Y/n)?" It was Tom. OHSHIZ IT WAS TOM.
"Y-yeah?" I stuttered. "Can I come in?" he asked, he sounded nervous.
"Hold on a sec" My room wasn't a mess but my hair was. I fixed it before opening the door, greeting Tom with a smile. He was holding a tray with two plates with pancakes and some f/d. "Umm.. I made breakfast and I wanted to ask if I could eat with you.." he said. I looked up at him, "Sure" I said, and moved aside so he could pass. He placed the tray on my desk while I sat on my bed. An awkward silence filled the room as we both ate, i couldn't help but stare at Tom. He looked back and we both blushed and looked down at our now empty plates. I loved everything about him, but I didn't know if he felt the same. Trying to strike up a conversation, I asked, " Hey Tom... How does it look like outside?". This caught his attention, cause he stood up and sat next to me.
" Everything is still the same, (Y/N). Still the same blue sky, green grass, and tall trees" he said, looking at the floor. Another silence filled the room.
"When can i go outside?"
"(Y/n) you can't"
"But why?"
"(Y/n)..." his voice was slightly raised, giving me a hint to stop, but I didn't. He didn't like to talk about it. None of them did
"But WHY, Tom? Its not like Tord knows where we live.." I mumbled. Tom suddenly turned to me, grabbing my shoulders so that I faced him.
" Its for your own good y/n! Who knows what might happen if someone saw you! And you saw happened last time!". I could sense the anger in his raised voice.
"And that's final" he growled the last words before he let go, stacking the plates and leaving, locking the door behind him.Tears threatened to fall, but I didn't let them, or maybe I couldn't feel them. He was right. It was my fault he got goggles and Matt got a metal chin and robotic eye last time. Then they decided to lock me in my room. For my own good they said. I only felt like a burden to my friends. They got hurt trying to protect me from Tord. Edd got shot in the arm one time when Tord had aimed for me. Matt got his eye slashed by a soldier and his chin replaced. Then Tom... Tom was hit in the eyes by an energy blast, from Tord's robotic arm. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard heard Edd's voice coming from downstairs, "Y/n! We'll be back later!"
"Kay!" then I heard the car drive off. I sat there, on my bed, now alone in the house. I decided I didn't want to be a burden anymore, so I put on my (f/c) converse, wrote a quick note leaving it on my desk, and got my phone and buds. I looked around my room, looking for something to unlock the door, when I remembered something. My window wasn't locked, since Tom forgot to check when he left. I opened my window, and looked down. Just need to slide down the roof tiles and jump off. Easy I thought as I let myself slide, then held on to the edge of the roof before then letting go. My motorcycle was still in the same spot, and I didn't need keys so I started the engine and drove off.. End of flashback
I sighed, and took out my phone. I scrolled through some pictures. Most were sent by Matt and others were some that I took. A lot of them were happy memories, like when it was Tord's birthday and Tom shoved him in the cake, ending with a cake throwing fight.

Scrolled to another picture. This one Matt sent, it was of him taking a selfie after he got his chin and I eye replaced. Tom, Edd and me were in the background, Tom starting to adjusting to the goggles, and Edd was behind me covering my ears.

Apparently Tom had said something when Edd covered my ears but I don't know what. I cried that day,Tom made me feel slightly better tho... (Enter phone ringtone) I jumped at the sudden noise, almost throwing my phone off the cliff. I checked the caller ID. Edd... Should I answer or... No, I don't want them to see this... I let it keep ringing before I looked at more photos, for the last time...
