"um guys, the song ended a couple minutes ago."
rosie could've murdered fred right then. she could've straight up choked him. obviously, she'd apologise to uncle george and auntie angelina, but she was sure they'd understand her reasoning. and besides, she knew she was their favourite niece.
she observed as jamie awkwardly shuffled back and resumed his seat in the circle. teddy, on the other hand, left to go outside. that was odd. jamie looked as if he wanted to go after him, but decided against it. the fucking idiot.
everyone was in a bit of a stiff mood so, someone had to be the one to liven things up. and no one was taking on that role. rosie guessed she'd have to do it herself.
"okay, okay." she giggled, a red cup filled with mixed drinks sloshing over in her hand. maybe she was drunker than she thought. but now, she had to pick someone. and who other than her brother who was up for any truth or dare, always the one to make people laugh. "hugo!"
"oh no." he groaned, rubbing his temples. "i choose dare."
"i dare you to kiss... uhhhhh," rosie looked around the ring of people on the floor before her eyes landed on the person sat next to her brother. "lorcan! i dare you to kiss lorcan!"
hugo appeared frozen, but he'd never once backed out of a dare. rosie saw him glance over to lorcan before placing a hand on his cheek. lorcan looked startled, and his face flushed scarlet red.
rosie thought she heard hugo whisper something to lorcan but that was far from her mind as her brother kissed the twin on the cheek. he then began to kiss lorcan properly.
after a while, they pulled apart. hugo got up and quickly stepped away from the circle. he made his way over to the door and presumably joined teddy outside, leaving lorcan sat in the circle.
"i think it's time this party comes to an end." jamie said.
of the the times she'd been to teddy's, this one party sure had been haywire.
