Dear Mackenzie,

Thank you for sending me a christmas card in the mail.

It arrived this morning, with our Sunday morning post.

My mother told me you're a sweet girl and she asked me why we don't hang out anymore.

Well, she has no idea.

I wonder if your intent of the card was to apologise, whether you feel guilty.

But I'm sure that's not it.

Anyway, I don't want to get my hopes up.

Plus, I've already decided what I'm giving you for christmas.
