Pulled down below the surface,

back into the sea of pain, the sea of misery.

The lower I go the more it hurts

the colder it gets.

The salt burning the wounds covering my body,

Water filling my lungs.

Unable to swim up, only sink down.

The moon, the stars, getting more and more faint by the second.

My world collapses, as my lungs are crushed by the pressure.

Why do you do this to me, why do I let you.

I tried to sail the arctic and was thrown overboard.

Now left to die, in this freezing sea,

I ask, why me.

As I am pulled into the depths of this Arctic Sea.
