*So there's gonna be a time skip here sorry if the bothers you I just don't know how Amethyst, Peridot, and Lapis would explain how a picnic date works so just take this time to make it up in your head on how Amethyst, Peridot, and Lapis helped Ruby XD*

The next day, I felt my head, pounding. I knew what I got myself into though, a date. How two people that love each other show love or whatever Amethyst said. I had no idea how this is gonna turn out.

I texted Steven on my phone and asked him where he wanted the picnic to be.

BR: Hey Steven

SU: Hey Ruby what's up?

BR: I wasn't sure where we were gonna have our picnic, any ideas?

SU: I have an idea!

SU: Meet me at the Wattpad in the temple where you're ready

BR: K, see you there!

SU: Of course!

 I started getting things together. Donuts, these things called Lion lickers, and cookie cats that Amethyst gave me, she told me that Steven loved them.  I looked at myself. I looked a little, strange. I forget that I'm this blue sometimes, I keep thinking I'm normal, but yet I remember I'm so, off.

 I got everything together, I placed everything in a basket and started walking to the temple. I walked in, as soon as I saw Steven, my body became not hot, but cold. He was wearing a tux suit, he smiled at me, he to had a basket like mine. 

 I looked down at my feat, the floor covered in ice, my mind blanked the more I looked. Ice, why ice?

 "Ruby!" I heard Steven yell before I fell onto the cold, ice hard floor. He ran over and grabbed my hand before I could. "Are you ok?" he asked. I looked down again, the ice was gone.

 "I am now." I said in relief. He smiled, still holding me up. For a moment, I saw light. Just this bright light. I jumped back and the light went away. Steven giggled.

 "Ruby, are you sure you're ok?"

 "Yeah, I guess my powers are developing." I replied.

 "Me too!" He giggled. "Hey we should get going, we're gonna run out of time!"

 Right after he said that, we both hopped on the warp pad and took off. Once we got to our destination, I looked around. There was axes and giant red things, dripping with liquid.

 "Where are we?" I asked him. He looked down at me and smiled.

 "Ruby, welcome to the Strawberry Graveyard." He replied. "But where we're going is past this, I'll show you."

 He grabbed my hand and started running, after we passed all of the what I believe, Strawberries. We got to a nice, flat area. Little, colorful plants, in groups based off of the color they were.

"Wow." I gasp. "This place looks amazing!"

"I know, I found it one day while I was teaching Lars a few things about the gems past. I thought this place a beautiful."

"Yeah." My face turned warm, but warmer than usual.

"Uh, Ruby. You're steaming up."

"What?" I looked at my body, with literal burning steam coming off of it. "Oh, sorry."

"It's fine, go run around, I'll set the area up." I nodded and started to walk around. I found the amazing plant again, they were a pink color. I couldn't help but pick some.

I caught myself weaving them into a circle, I wasn't sure what I was doing, but when ever I picked one, another one of the same color replaced it.

"Everything's set Ruby!" I heard Steven scream. I ran back with the craft I had made from the plants.
