It's Too Late For You Now

I get that sorry means nothing to you.

So why did I still bother to say 'I'm sorry'?

I get that I mean nothing to you.

So why did I try to hold on to you

I get that you don’t care anymore.

So why do i still see you looking miserable when i walk by?

Is it because I never cried in front of you?

Because I’m tougher than you thought.

Because I’m a fighter and don’t feel pain anymore.

Or is it because you didn’t get the reaction out of me that you wanted.

I know what it is; it's because i don’t just roll with the punches any more, i throw the punches now.

I'm, not going to cry because it's over; I’m going to smile because it happened.
