You said 'Let's be friends'

I said 'I'd love to'

But what happened to us being friends

You don't talk to me.

You don't look at me.

I try to get your attention.

I try to talk to you.

I put in the effort to be friends.

So where is your effort?

You're always running away when I’m near.

You're always talking over me.

Nothing you're doing is helping our broken friendship.

What do you say we do now?

Just leave the only true friendship I had broken?
