My alarm clock rings and I feel a prickle of annoyance and then happiness. I don't know why I'm so happy but then I realize - Jake! I get to see him again! I have to wear the perfect outfit and make the perfect hairstyle today.

I have to stop. I barely know him. I mean, we talked, flirted a little, I got his number, but I'm being too desperate.

I walk into school with Bella and Jade.

"Oh Look! Adv! There's your future husband!" Bella exclaims.

"Uhh. What did I miss out on?" Jade asks.

Bella fills Jade in, while my face turns red again.

Jake sees me and waves, and Jade nudges me.

"Adva! Go get your guy!" She yells.

"Jade. Learn to talk quieter."

Jake walks towards us.

"Hey."

"Hi Adva. Can I call you Adv?"

"No. It's really only for my close friends, sorry. Speaking of, these are my friends Jade and Bella"

They wave at Jake.

"Hi. I'm really glad you and Adva became friends because she just needs someone like you." Jade says.

I nudge Jade. Ugh. She's so annoying sometimes.

Jake looks at me.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I don't know. Jade tried cocaine the other day and ever since then she's been off."

"That's not even true, Adva!" Jade yells.

"Shut up you're so loud."

Jade flips me off and I blow a kiss to her.
