The First Plane

Is another realm co-existing beside the human realm. It holds many powerful creatures and beasts, from the Abatwa to Goblins, from the Gryphons to the faun. But most importantly, it is home to the fey.

Troop fey are ruled by a hierarchy. Currently, King Leshay rules over the realm, celebrating his 200th year in power. Mortals are strongly advised to avoid these fey after dark, especially during a full moon as their world boarders ours. These fey are a mix from all kinds of creatures, including fauns.

Solitary fey:

These fey may decide to mingle, and occasionally mate with humans. However, half breeds are often violent and deformed creations of nature who can kill the mortal mother in childbirth. Mortals of talents should beware of these fey, for they are drawn to creative auras. Female Solitary fey are also terrible brides; hopeless at housework and in constant need for freedom. These females may breed with a male, only to leave upon pregnancy to bring the child up within the fey world.

Red Caps:

Nasty goblins, these fey shift their residency often to avoid exorcists, witches and authorities. Mortals are advised to not explore an old pile of stones on the side of a rocky road, as it may be the residency of a Red Cap. This creature has large fiery red eyes and a red cap, with long grey hair and eagle claws instead of hands. Red caps need the blood of a mortal to keep the red colour of his cap, which he dips in the blood of his victims. The only protection from a Red Cap is reciting holy words.

Pixies:

Pixies have red hair, turned up noses, malicious smiles and squinting green eyes. They are malicious tricksters, but a mortal can protect themselves by wearing their clothes inside out. Farmers are advised to leave water on the kitchen table for the pixie mothers to wash their babies in and milk for them to drink.

Gryphons:

Gryphons are the offspring of eagles and lion, eight times larger than an average lion and a hundred times stronger than an eagle

Gryphons are the offspring of eagles and lion, eight times larger than an average lion and a hundred times stronger than an eagle. This animal functions to punish humans for their love of riches. Mortals should beware of when they find a jewel in their path, for it may be planted by a gryphon looking to punish a greedy human.

The Shadow Plane

Is an extension of the first plane, created when the first fey's soul split and the darker half drifted towards the shadows. In this realm, the shadow creatures reign.

No documented forms of the creatures of this plane exist. Many claim it includes Vampyres, Witches, Daemons and Shadow Hounds, including the Black Wolf.

The one creature confirmed to be of shadow origin is a kelpie.

Kelpies:

Kelpies appear in human or horse form, enticing unsuspecting humans to ride on their backs. But with sticky fur, they lead mortals into water and drown them. There is no escaping this horse, unless one carries a bridle to which they can catch the horse and make it work for them. However, they can curse a family for generations if an mortal works them too hard or for too long.

For mortals to protect themselves against other shadow creatures, nails can be hammered into doors to keep out darkness. All toe and finger nail clippings and hair should be destroyed, so these creatures can not find or hunt you when you are outdoors. Individuals should also not use their full name often- and may even feel the need to keep a middle name of documented forms. A full name holds power, and revealing it to these dark fey can cost you your soul.

Periwinkles:

Sometimes mistaken as Pixies, no images exist of these creatures. Able to travel between worlds, it heeds to humans deepest darkest thoughts, and compels people to act on them. They can be extremely dangerous, as they are also known to collect hair from the Fae and use them in dangerous love and hate spells. Mortals should simply ignore their unfriendly presence and keep them out of their hair; figuratively and literally.
