The rest of the day went pretty fast, I didn't get lost and new were I was going by the end of the day.
But the image of jack and his girlfriend kept playing on my mind.
I finally got home threw my backpack on the floor and kicked off my shoes, all before running upstairs and lying on my bed.
I picked up my phone, no messages or missed calls as usual.
I sighed and got in a comfortable position.
This was going to be one long year.
I heard to door open and close downstairs, my mum was home, she ran upstairs to greet me.
"How was your first day?"
"It was fine, mum."
"Make any friends?"
I shrugged "I guess."
She pulled me into a hug, "I'm so proud of you."
I giggled and pulled away.
I thought about jack again.
"Everything ok dear?"
"Yeah, couldn't be better."
It could
She smiled at me and went back downstairs.
I've never really liked anyone before, this was all new to me, and liking jack hit me all at once, it made me sick.
Lovesick...
I opened up my favourite game and started to play, it passed a lot of time, but it didn't take my mind of jack.
A few hours passed and I grew bored.
I went downstairs.
"Nice timing, your dinner is ready." My mum passed me a plate of pasta.
"Thanks mum." I smiled at her and ate.
I wasn't hungry, but I didn't want to make her upset.
Maybe I was making to much of a big deal out of this, I mean, he's just a normal person right?...
Right?
