I heard my phone alarm ring loudly and turned over to turn it off, grabbing my glasses at the same time. I looked next to me and saw smokey stretched out on my pillow. I stroked him and got up.
I arrived at school later than usual and jack wasn't in his usual place with Alexa.
Maybe they broke up?
I hoped it was true but doubted it was.
I reached my class and took my seat.
Jack and Alexa sat opposite me.
She looked disgusted.
"Why do you have to sit here?" She said angrily.
I ignored her.
She huffed and crossed her arms.
I couldn't focus on what the teacher was saying, all my attention was on jack...
"Rachel!" I heard an annoyed voice which stopped me in my thoughts.
I turned my head to where the noise was coming from, Alexa.
"Why are you staring, it's creepy you weirdo." She slapped my hand from across the table.
"I-I zoned out." I whispered.
"Whatever,"
Jack looked at me "Dont worry Rach."
The lesson went fast and I got out as fast as I could.
The day dragged on for which felt like forever, and everyone was talking about a new person joining our class.
