It felt as if all my memories flashed right before my eyes.

It felt as if a part of me that was suffering was now at peace.

As I let you go, I stared at you.
Beneath the wires and tubes and thin, pale skin was a broken yet beautiful girl.
A girl who I promised to forever see as something beautiful.
