((Okay, I figured I might as well put a chapter up about this since I was asked about it. And just so you know, any questions you have just ask and I'll answer to the best of ability.))
From what I understand, only two of the three classes actually purr purr. Betas will purr occasionally but they're the most like normal actual humans. Alphas purr when really happy or in love or to calm down their omega over something. Omegas are the ones who purr the most.
Omegas will purr over almost anything that makes them happy, content or feel in love. They'll purr to their pups as a comfort, to their friends as a show of friendship and to their mate when in love. There are instances where an omega will stop purring completely. One is when they've been abused early on by all three classes alike or just betas and alphas since omegas treating another omega is rare but not unheard of. Another is if they suffered a very traumatic event (i.e. being raped by a beta or an alpha, watching something kill their mate/pups, loosing their pups/mate suddenly like in a car crash)
