Chapter 24 - Do you want to tell everyone?

Will POV

I walked back to the cafeteria with my hand in Tessa's. She sat next to Clary and I sat opposite next to Jon.

"Sorted?" Clary asked and I nodes my head as did Tessa

"What's sorted?" Jace asked

"Do you want to tell them?" Will said looking at Tessa

"Only the people at this table and say it quietly I don't need the whole school knowing" Tessa said seriously and will nodded

The only people sitting at the table were me, Tessa, Clary, Alec, Kaelie, Jace,Izzy, Simon and Jon

"Oh and Aline, Maia and Jordan but no one else" she said and everyone at the table nodded

"What's going on, what are you going to tell us?" Kaelie said

"Umm" Tessa said and then pulled out her phone and started typing

A minute later everyone's phone buzzed. I took out my phone and looked at the message Tessa had sent to the group chat that contained everyone she just said were aloud to know

Hey guys its Tessa I created this chat cuz well I'm pregnant so please don't tell anyone except the people in this group chat. I didn't want to say it aloud in case other people heard. And before you ask yes it's Will's

Clary smiled at Tessa as did Alec, Izzy, Jon. So they must have already known because their reactions were definitely different to everyone's else's. Maia, Jordan and Aline weren't here but they had texted back 'congratulations' and 'I'm happy for you'. Kaelie hugged Tessa and Simon said "congrats"

"I'm going to be an uncle" Jace whispered and Tessa and Will smiled

"Clary will you come with me to my parents house after school to get my stuff, you don't mind if I move my stuff to your room do you?"

"Of course not you can use my room for a bit and I'll stay in Alec's room" Clary replied

"Uh no you can stay with Izzy" Jon said staring at Clary

"Relax Jon nothing is going to happen" Clary said

"Well I don't know that" Jon replied glaring at Alec

"Come on Jon I'm your best friend aren't I?" Alec said "i promise nothing will happen"

"I'm not promising anything" Clary said smirking and everyone stifled a laugh but Jace just laughed while Jon glared at Clary

"Just a joke Jon, god don't take everything too seriously, I'll stay in Izzy's room okay?" Clary said smiling

"Fine" Jon said rolling his eyes
