Chapter 27 - Moving Home

Izzy POV

Me, Clary and Tessa were helping pack her stuff away in Clary's room while Jon and Alec carried the boxes to the car after school

"So Clary I hear you and Alec are going on a date on Friday?" I said smiling

"We might be" she replied "how did you even find out?"

"Well Alec told Jace and Simon and then Simon told me" I said simply

"Simon just told you?" Tessa said looking at me

"OK I may have used my amazing powers of persuasion to get him to tell me" I said

"So basically you blackmailed him?" Clary said and I nodded as the girls rolled their eyes and started laughing

"What we laughing about?" Alec said walking in to get some more boxes

"Nothing" all three of us said together and started laughing again. Alec just gave us a confused look but I just handed him a box and pushed him out of the room

"So what are you going to wear?" Tessa asked

"Actually I was hoping you two would help me with all that stuff" she said quietly

"Oh my god does this mean I can give you a makeover?" I said excitedly

"Yes Isabelle Lightwood I officially give you permission to give me a full make over on Friday night" Clary said and I literally squealed in delight

"Tessa I'm relying in you to make sure that Izzy does not turn me into a barbie doll" she said straight away and Tessa saluted at her

"Aye aye captain" she said as we all started laughing again

Once everything was packed Tessa, Alec and Jon got in the car while I went with Clary on her motorbike because there wasn't enough room for all of us. Luckily Will's house was only 10 minutes around the corner.

When we got there Jace opened the door.

"Hey guys come in, Tessa Will is upstairs and I have no idea what he is doing because he says its a surprise"

Tessa nodded and headed upstairs while we took the boxes inside.

Tessa's POV

I walked upstairs and called Will's name as I realized his house was pretty big and I had no idea where to go

"Will?" I called walking down a corridor but there was no reply

"Will?" I said a little louder and suddenly he walked out of one of the rooms

"Tess you're early" he said sounding a little panicked

"Umm yeah hope that's okay, what wrong?" I asked, Will was never nervous

"Nothing" he said quickly standing in front of the door

"Is that the surprise Jace was talking about?" I said smiling a little

"Yeah"he said rubbing the back of his head but then he stood up straight and took my hand

"You know what its not completely finished but I'll let you see it anyway" he said pulling me into the room

I looked around. The walls were painted a soft blue colour and there was a cot in one corner of the room and a chair next to it. In the other corner there was a box full of toys, a chest of drawers and a small wardrobe. Above the cot was a baby mobile with animals hanging off it. Picture of baby room above
