Nightmare [Touken]

Touka's POV

I ran and ran, seemingly trapped inside a endless void. No matter how far and how fast I ran, there's no way to reach the end of it.

"Where the hell am I?", I cursed under my breath as I looked towards, every direction, tried to find a way to get out. As I'm picking a way to get out, I heard a voice.

"I still have a family.......why do you kill me?"

"My children still wait for me at home......"

"I need to take care of my mother......"

I started to hear all sorts of voices echoed though out the entire area. I gulped as I looked around, I'm getting panicked and started to ran until there's a bloody hand grabbed my feet. Then I realized more and more hand emerged from the ground, I get off the grasped of the hand and kept running but ultimately fail. Soon I realized I been buried under and bunch of bloody bodies.

"KANEKI! HELP!", I yelled out as loud as possible.

"Touka-chan! Touka-chan! What happen?!", I cracked opened my eyes, looked at a really worried Kaneki. I pant heavily as I stared at his grey-ish eyes.

"It's just a dream.....", I weakly said as he helped me to sit up on our bed. He wiped away the sweat from my forehead. I'm still tremble from the horrible experience earlier.

"Your hands are freezing cold...", he grabbed my hand and started rubbing it. I clenched on his hand tightly, he gave me a slight smile and pressed his lips against my forehead.

"Want some water?", he said as I hugged my knee, I nodded at him as a respond. He went out from our room and come back in no time.

"There you have it.", I handed me a glass of water and I started sipping it.

My hand still shaking uncontrollably and make me almost dropped the glass. He worryingly looked at me as he embraced me in his chest. He gently brushed my hair. I looked at him as tears slowly rolled down from my cheek

"Don't be afraid, Touka-chan......I'll always by your side.", he said as he wiped away and gave me a smile.

"Mmm....", I nodded as he started to pull my cheek and smile like a idiot.

"Oi bakaneki.....that's enough okay?", I frowned at him.

"Yes, the old Touka-chan is back.", he gave me a smile and I smiled back.

"That dream really terrify me.....", I said as he pushed me against the bed, stared me straight into my eyes.

"I'll make sure you'll never remember that again.", he said as our distance between us became closer and closer. Our lips slowly met as I closed my eyes and wrapped my arm around his neck. His kisses were different from before, it's less aggressive with a splash of comforting. Slowly, the dream that terrified me slowly fade away.

"You like it?", he said as we parted for breath.

"Definitely yes.....", I said as I pulled him for another kiss. I sat up, slowly wrapped my legs around his waist as we kissed passionately. He rested his forehead on mine as we parted for breath.

"Time to sleep, Touka-chan.....We still need to work tomorrow.....", he said.

"The cafe....? Let's take a break for tomorrow, shall we?", I said.

"Well....it's your call."

"Okay! Let's have a date tomorrow, bakaneki."

I snuggled into his body, laid on his chest, slightly felling excited for tomorrow and soon I slowly drifted into my dreams.
