Would be this disappointing,this dismal
I thought I meant something to you
Just Something
Somewhere
Deep
Down
I was wrong
I didn't know giving the best to someone
Would make me feel this worse
Maybe ignorance is bliss
But being blinded
By such feelings
Made me feel
All
amiss
I shouldn't have given you any power over me
But I did , didn't I ?
I shouldn't have told you all the secrets,
But I did, didn't I?
I shouldn't have knocked the door
But I did, didn't I?
I shouldn't have placed my beating heart
On your doorstep
But I did , didn't I ?
However
You shouldn't have taken me for granted
But you did,didn't you?
You shouldn't have told her all my secrets
But you did,didn't you?
You shouldn't have closed your
door on my face
But you did,didn't you?
You shouldn't have stamped on my heart
When you had nothing to do with it
But you did,didn't you?
There are mistakes I made
There are mistakes you did too
Then why am I the only one with a broken heart?
Why is your door just the same
As it was?
Not broken nor shattered
