SUMMARY:
Kent and French gentlemen talk about proceedings and Cordelia's reactions to Lear's state.
Kent explains Lear does not want to see Cordelia because of guilt and feeling unworthy.

Note: notice the way Corelia is described 'holy water', 'pearls from diamonds'. Obvs Cordelia is in high sted- how does this contrast with her other sisters' descriptions throughout the play? What could Shakespeare mean by this?
