"Anyone up for the rodeo tonight?" Darry asked walking into the living room. Everyone agreed especially me. There's this girl who is into barrel racing and I think she's kinda hot. The guys don't know it but I've been going to every rodeo that she's been in there for the last few weeks. Tonight was the last night that Cheyenne was gonna be there. So something had to happen between us or poof gone until the next time the rodeo came to town and its not a sure thing that she'll be there. We all left the Curtis house and started walking to the rodeo. When we got there everyone went in different directions. Dal and I went to where all the cowboys and cowgirls were getting ready at.  Dal went and looked for some of his cowboy buddies and I looked for Cheyenne. She was in the warm up ring with her big black horse named tammen. When she seen me watching her she walked Tammen over to where I was at and got off to talk to me. "Hey Johnny how you doin?" She asked. "I'm good. How's you and tammen doing?" I asked. "I'm good. Tammen's really pumped today though." Cheyenne said with a laugh as she rubbed the horse's head. I laughed with her and patted the horse as well. "So Johnny you've been coming a lot. Any reason?" she asked. "Not really." I replied as she giggled a little. "I like you Johnny." She replied. "You're not like most guys I meet while I'm on the road." She told me. "Really?" "Yea. Johnny you want go to the dingo and grab a bite to eat when this is all over?" Cheyenne asked me taking me off guard a little. "Sure." "Awsome. I better get back to working him. I'll see ya after the rodeo." She said getting back on the horse. "Yea I'll see ya after the rodeo. Good luck to both of you tonight." Tammen nickered and shook his head in reply. Cheyenne and I laughed at him. "Thank you Johnny." She said turning the horse around to get back to working with him. I turned around to see dally behind me. "Gee Johnny. Didn't know you only came to the rodeo for the cowgirls." Dally said with a laugh. "I come for more than that." I replied as he laughed more. "Whatever Johnny. Let's go find the rest of the guys." Dallas said as we went to go find the rest of the guys.
