Dancing in the rain (Sodapop Curtis)

It was Saturday morning and I woke up next to my sweet loving boyfriend Sodapop. Soda woke me up by giving me a sweet soft kiss. "Morning babe." he said. "Hey sweetie." I replied smiling at him. "Want some breakfast?" He asked. "Sure." I told him. He stood up and grabbed my arm to follow him. We walked into the kitchen where most of the gang had gathered. "There's the lovebirds." Steve said while two-bit made gagging noises in the background. Steve turned to two-bit. "You think their bad here? I have to put up with them on the Dx." Steve told two-bit. "Oh steve shut up you know you love me." I told him grabbing a pillow hitting him upside the head. "Sure whatever you say." He says with a smile. "Hey babe i gotta go." I told Soda. He nodded. "Alright I'll see you later." He said kissing me one more time before I left. Then the whole gang started making gagging noises. "Oh shut up guys!!!" Soda and I yelled at them. They all laughed. "Why don't I walk with you." Soda suggested. I nodded. "I'll be back." Soda muttered over his shoulder. "Where are we going?" Soda asked. "Somewhere." I replied looking up at the sky that promised rain soon. We walked to the park as it started to rain. Instead of running for shelter soda and I stayed in the rain. "There is something that I have always wanted to try." Soda said. "What is it?" "This." He replied picking me up and swinging me around while kissing me letting the rain fall on our heads. I swear it looked like a scene straight out of a movie. We played in the rain for a while like little kids. "We better go to our houses to change before we get sick. Want me to walk you home?" Soda asked. I shook my head. "No I'll be alright." "You sure?" I nodded and walked in the direction of my house.

I walked back to the house soaking wet and thinking about Y/N. When I walked in the door and Steve shook his head. "Please tell me you two didn't dance in the rain." He said. I laughed a little. "Sorry pal. I can't tell ya I didn't do something that I did." I told him as I walked to my room to put on some dry cloths. "You really are in love with Y/N aren't you?" Steve asked. "I think so." I told him sitting down on the couch beside him.
