"hey harper, when you see this voicemail please call me back. it's urgent. bye."

i was sitting on the couch waiting for harper to call me back. i needed to talk to her about something. suddenly, i hear my phone ring.

"hey lauren, what's up?"

all i heard was sniffling on the phone. "lauren??" i said again, confused.

"meet us at the hospital." she said, hysterical. "harper's here."

i hung up, grabbed the keys to my car and rushed over.
