"Yes mum!!",
Practically since I became a senior at Riverside High my mornings were always like this... Mum actually disrupted my dream about my future Prince charming😍😍😍. I grumbled out of bed forgetting the fact that I'm gonna miss the school bus if I continue this way.. After my bath, I look at myself in the mirror and smile.. I don't really apply makeup, only my powder and lip gloss😊. Josh once told me "Beez you don't need makeup, you've got your pearly white teeth and extremely cute smile" I remember blushing throughout that day...
I rushed down the stairs and hugged mum. Breakfast looked breathtaking as usual, being an only child has its perks y'all know😉. Dad's issue is kinda touchy so I'll skip that part... Fortunately for me, I didn't miss the school bus😝😝😝
I sighted Karina and Maryam at our normal spot (beside the window) Maryam is the only Muslim in our school. She was taunted for a few days until I met her.. We met Karina and Daffy a month later and we've been inseparable ever since❣️
I strolled over to them but someone held my hands. I feign annoyance and look down only to see Josh grinning like a little kid, My heart skipped a beat for a second.. I stood there staring at him until he said;
"Morning Beez"
"Uhhh Hey Josh.." at that moment, I literally forgot the fact that we were best friends.. Those shiny black eyes, that dark hair, cute set of teeth... Oh meen, I shook my head in order to clear the thoughts from my mind.. He winked at me and released my hand.
Maryam and Karina grinned at me and I tried to ignore them but we ended up laughing. Getting off the bus is another issue, I tend to always miss a step and I still didn't know why.. Oh well, here goes... Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked back and saw Josh behind me.. He smiled and said;
"Beez, I don't want you to miss a step"
I hear a loud "awwwww" from my pals and I end up blushing again... I look up and find Kate McKinley glaring at me.. Meen this is gonna be a really long day..😋😋
