"Argh," I groan.

My body still hurt like hell thanks to the beating I had received two nights ago, but it did seem to heal, even if just a bit.

The last two days have been just like any other since moving here. Wake up, eat, work, eat, work, eat, sleep, repeat.

I wish I felt the same excitement I had back in that concert. Life is just too boring.

I take a look at my reflection in the mirror and see the I still had a black eye and a cut on my lip. There was nothing I could do about the lip, but I did put some makeup around my eye to make myself more presentable.

Tzuyu texted me the morning after the concert, asking if I was okay and apologizing once more. I told her I was fine and that she should focus on her career, not on somebody like me.

Jin has been out of the house more often, and he won't tell me why. He just dodges every question I throw at him.

Today, however, he was home, and once again, invited me to go out with him.

"You look bored," he said, patting me on the back. "Don't you just wanna loosen up? To feel alive?"

"What are you suggesting?" I furrow my eyebrows at him.

"Let's go to a club!"

A club? Seriously? He wants me to get drunk? I might get into another fight and end up with a broken arm.

"No thanks, man," I shake my head. "Clubs just aren't my thing, you know this, dude."

"Oh, trust me, it's gonna become your thing if you just go this time. I've got a sweet surprise waiting for ya!"

"No means no, Jin," I turn to face the TV again, enjoying my K-drama.

"Pretty please? I'll buy you dinner!"

Food. This guy knows me too well.

"You got yourself a deal, mister." I say, getting on my feet to head to my room to change into some outgoing clothes.

"Yes! I knew it!" Jin jumps in celebration.

Jin seemed to have more money this time around. We took a taxi instead of a bus, his reason being that the club was pretty far down Seoul, and that it was one of the most popular ones around.

Taxis in Korea are very nice to be in, the drivers are kind, fast, and always try to start conversations with the passenger. This time though, I started it, since he must've thought I didn't know how to speak Korean. He was surprised, just like most people.

It was about dusk when we arrived at the club. People were starting to fill the place, talking to each other about what drinks they were going to buy and mix. Interesting and all, but I wasn't planning on drinking. Brings back bad memories.

Around an hour into the night, the owner of the club appeared on stage, where he shooed off the DJ, telling him get his stuff off the stage.

"Are you enjoying your night!?" He screams. Everyone cheers in agreement, lifting their glasses to him.

I wasn't. I was just happy that Jin got me free Coke.

"For a surprise gig... We've got K-pop group TWICE coming in!"

Oh, now I'm enjoying my night.

Practically everyone in the club went crazy, the girls especially. TWICE didn't even give any opening remarks, instead, they started the show immediately with one of their songs.

The night was nice and slow. I enjoyed watching TWICE, seeing that they not only performed their songs, but covered some other K-pop songs.

I also kept my eye, on Tzuyu, performing just as well as last time, if not better.
