Come on. Say it.
Just say it!
"Alright, you got the job," JYP concluded, leaning back on his leather chair, sighing loudly.
"Yes! Yes!" I loudly whispered to myself, punching the air in victory.
I was genuinely happy. A full-time job with an entertainment branch, cute girls to hang out with, and using all the languages that I've learned.
But it seemed JYP had more plans for me.
"May I ask you one more question?" He sat up again.
"Uh, of course, sir."
"This may sound strange but," he cleared his throat.
"Can you cook?"
Wut?
"Sir?" I looked at him.
"Let me explain," he laid back in his seat. "Nobody in TWICE can cook. Except for their kimchi, everything is dreadful. Usually they'd eat out and blow a ton of money, so I was hoping if you could cook for them when they're in the dorm. If it's not too much trouble, that is."
"Well, yes, I think I can cook well, sir. It wouldn't be any trouble at all." I nodded.
"Stop being so modest. It hides your true worth."
"Of course, sir."
"You start work tomorrow. Get your things packed to move in to their dorm. I trust you'll behave yourself. You know what I mean." He smirked.
"Thank you for this opportunity, sir!" I said embarrassingly.
"Now, shall we negotiate a salary?"

I was done packing my things, and I had only one less thing to do:
Tell Jin.
This was the scariest thing ever. He'd think I was abandoning him, that I never thought he was special.
But I had to. It would be unfair if I didn't.
I approached him in the living room and brought with me a cup of coffee for him.
"Jin?"
"Hm?" He looked at me.
God, he looked at me.
"I'm leaving tomorrow. I got a full-time job."
"Dude," he looked me straight in the eye. "Why do you sound so sad? Cheer up, man! I'm happy for you!"
"Really?"
"'Course, man. I'm not gonna ask about what job that is, but, hey, if it's full-time, it's good."
That went a lot better than I originally anticipated.
We went out for a bite, to which he left again to some place God knows where.
I went the other way, planning to walk home since the weather was so nice.
My phone rang and I read the caller I.D.
"Chou Tzuyu is calling..."
I placed my thumb on the green circle representing the accept call button and placed the phone to my ear.
"Tzuyu?"
"Hey!" She said excitedly.
"You sound excited."
"Of course I am. So... did you get the job?"
"Oh. Nope," I decided to tease her, trying my best to keep a straight tone.
"What!?" She yelped, almost like she was about to cry. Did she want me to get the job that bad? "They can't! You're the be-"
"I got it!" I said quickly. "I was just teasing you!"
I heard her make a big sigh of relief on the other side of the call.
"You're so mean to me."
"I'm just trying to have some fun!"
"Yes," her tone started to get more serious. "But I'm still your senior."
"Pft. 'Kay, mom."
"M-mom!? I'm not that much of a senior!"
"I'm just kidding! You're still young and pretty, OK?"
There was a slight pause before she answered back.
"O-okay."
"Now, I have to sleep early to get there ASAP tomorrow. Tell your friends the news."
"Okay."
"Goodnight, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Goodnight, y/n. Take care," she finally said as she hung up the call.
I looked up to the moon, smiling.
It had been a great day.
