"We had a great time here, and surprisingly, you guys were very supportive of us! From the bottom of our heart, TWICE loves you!"

I had just translated the last statement to come from Jihyo to the foreign crowd. They were very supportive the entire way, even singing along to some distinct parts of certain songs.

"Wow, who was that?" I heard an American voice say.

"Was their closing statement scripted?" Another one said.

Obviously, none of the girls had the slightest clue of what they were saying. Mina might, but I doubt that as well.

They left the stage and proceeded to the catwalk were they were closely guarded by the bouncers that worked under Jin. I asked him to give them specific instructions to watch intently if any people were trying to sneak some inappropriate photos for their own not-good purposes.

Luckily they didn't report anything I didn't want to hear from them.

"Good job, guys," I high-fived each of the girls as they walked up towards me inside the bus that housed most of the crew.

"We're going to watch the Star Wars movie later, do you wanna come?" Nayeon asked.

"Definitely!" I gave her a thumbs up as I sat down at the rear end of the six wheeler.

Tzuyu was the last to take her seat, which was right next to me.

I didn't know whether to feel happy or depressed, seeing as I was the last one to have a seatmate.

I felt even more annoyed as I caught Sana giving me an approving thumbs up in the corner of my eye. I gladly returned the gesture with a scowl.

She may be my unofficial sister and all, but encouraging me to bad decisions isn't exactly what I call a supportive sibling.

Not that I know much of siblings anyway.

I ruffled my hair a bit and cleared my throat before speaking to the tall girl beside me.

"So, how was it?" I asked in a low voice, low enough that it would only be understandable between the two of us. "You were smiling for the cameras the entire time, just like always."

"It was nice," she smiled. "I can't wait for the movie later. I'm so tired and I cant wait to relax."

"Yeah, me too. I haven't been getting much sleep lately," I could almost feel my eyebags drooping lower and lower.

"Why's that?"

"Oh, you know," I shrugged. "Work and arrangements with the security detail."

"Like what?"

"Nothing important. Just asked them to make it tighter than last time. Never know what foreign fans might do. Some people can get excessively 'patriotic'."

"Yeah, I know what that feels like."

Tzuyu's face suddenly became visibly saddened, and I had absolutely no clue as to why.

"What do you mean?"

"Nothing important," she turned away from me. She can still be so cold sometimes. "Do you uh, want to spend some time later this week?" What's with sudden change of attitude?

"Well, why not tomorrow?" It's not like we have forever here in America.

"We have the fansigning tomorrow, y/n," she said, confused.

"Oh," I imagined knocking myself with a club. "I forgot, sorry."

"It's fine. That's what lack of sleep does to you," she patted me on the back. "Sleep early later, when we get home from the movie. I'm sure work can wait."

"I guess."

"So what do you want to do then?"

"Oh, I'll think of something," I smiled.

"I look forward to it. I hope you think of something fun!"

I noticed that she was beginning to piece her words together better. She was faster and more confident in speaking Korean. I guess I was finally starting to rub off on her.

The rest of the ride to the hotel was met with noise, as the girls were having fun sharing stories about the people they had met.

Tzuyu however, was completely silent, instead staring out the window, admiring the bustling streets of Manhattan.

None of the girls seemed to question her, as if they knew what was going on inside her head. Maybe the just understand her more than I do.

Hell, I hardly even understand her to begin with.

I hope that changes with time.

For some reason, I really do.
