2 weeks later

As Parker explained his feelings for Amie to Meredith she squealed in happiness the cupid side of her mind was turning on possibly even naming Parker and Amie's future kids.

"hello" Parker waved his hand at her face bringing her back to earth's surface Meredith gave him a sly smirk "dude don't worry as long as I am here right next to you I'll help" her words made Parker blush and grin both at the same time.

But then Parker frowned "what if she doesn't feel the same" he spoke his mind out she looked at him and rolled her eyes "I think you should get a new pair of glasses Parker, even a blind could see the girl is smitten by you"  his eyes filled with  a happy glint "really?" he asked her like a kid wanting to be sure if he was alowed to buy the newly launched Lego game.

"yes Parker yes" she smiled he hugged her she hugged him back. "so when shall i begin the matchmaking process" Parker chuckled not before telling her "after a year and ten months" Meredith looked at him as if he has gone crazy "it will be close to the end of our college life you idiot"she chided.

"well that's the plan look Mari I want to umm i-i want to propose her to marry me at the end of the last semester only i-if our feelings are mutual" he looked anywhere but her scratching the nape of his neck.

Her mouth was hang open her eyes widening in shock even that would be would an understatement as to what she felt she had known since the very beginning that this cute nerdy guy was in love with Amie but so deep that he couldn't wait for at least like five more years to ask her hand was shocking.

"are you serious right now" she couldn't help but ask and he nodded giving his final affirmation "OK then let's just get clear about her feelings for now" she told him and they both part ways as her dormitory came in view.

It was like a daily ritual to walk each other till their dorm buildings which was opposite to each other separating boys and girls , as three of them work in the same place after college hours but today Amie had gone to her hometown for her grandma was not well.

Xavier stood admiring the view of the city from his office he heard a knock  "come in" he said gruffly.

"sir your meetings for the day are over and tomorrow's schedule is printed here" the blond girl which was his personal secretary informed him softly he still didn't bother to turn around and asked her to leave and she did.

He turned around finally sitting down going through the peace of paper before tucking it in his file and leaving.

Not before glancing at her picture in his cell phone for the nth time.

Another day passed without her he thought.

Days were passing by he was changing,life around him was changing how is she he thought.

Sometime his hands itched to just call his personal detective and keep track on his Meredith but as much as the idea pleased him he could not do so.

Not at all because he respects her  and loves her way to much and hopes that one day she will love him back but until that one day he gotta wait and try to become a more better person just for her she makes him want to became a better person.
