We all heard the poetic cliche.
We may even hear it used every day.
Am I cursed to be broken like Sebastian from La La Land ...
to be successful only to miss or forfeit true love?
I am a Master of small talk ...
and yet I remain a singular person.
Am I really looking for a relationship ...
or a championship?
I love to help people with their problems ...
but am I ready for one of them to be my problem?
Am I ready for some young woman to try telling me what to do ...
or am I just too much of an individual that I can't be a couple?
