Chefs are visited by food critics on occasion
Sports announcers comment on games every season
Therapists listen to and note their patient's problems for each session
Generals are reminded of their current failures
but
I live with critics
Announcers that comment on my life
Therapists that tell me my flaws
I am reminded of all my past failures
all this not on occasion but as frequent as a bird beats it wings in flight
Thus an ego was born
