K.O.'s body lied again the forest floor, the trees towering above him. There were multiple scratches on his face, and his clothes were completely torn up. He had a huge crack in the middle of his head, which was gushing out blood that dripped down the side of his face.

His right ankle was twisted, bending in a direction it shouldn't be twisted in, and his right eye was black and swollen. Some of his teeth were on the ground in front of him, bloody and dirty. His back was burning, and some of his skin was even burnt and ripped off his body.

He had many deep cuts on his arms and legs, and some were so deep that he could've sworn the dirty, bloody grass and mud was getting inside his muscles and bones. His Gar's Bodega vest was wrapped tightly around his throat, and was soaked in blood.

While his back was facing the sky, he could still feel the blood oozing out of his stomach, which was cut open. The ground beneath him obviously would've infected his entire body, considering the germs and other bacteria would've crawled straight into his stomach and spread across his entire body.

K.O. had his eyes closed, hardly even breathing. It was a miracle he was even alive at this point, but K.O. honestly didn't want to be. Every single part of his body was burning and feeling incredible pain, sometimes to the point that he was numb.

K.O. still didn't understand what he did to deserve this. He knew that Shadowy Figure was a bit on the insane side, but he never expected this. The worst thing about it was that nobody even seemed to notice or care he was missing or tortured like he was.

He was just lying there, in the middle of an abandoned forest, unable to die and questioning why he was never enough.

He never understood why nobody even cared.
