It's the second week of December and you're sitting at a weekly pack meeting as it starts to come to a close, but not before Lydia can stand up to take the floor.

"Okay, so we're gonna pass around this hat," Lydia says as she gestures to Stiles to hand her a hat that contains tiny folded up pieces of paper with everyone's name on them. "And everyone is going to take one piece of paper. Make sure not to show anyone! It's a secret!"

"Wait. We're really doing the Secret Santa thing?" Liam questions as Lydia takes the first piece of paper out of the hat, passing it to Stiles.

"Yes, Liam."

"If I get Liam, will someone be willing to trade?" You look over to Liam and smirk as he becomes completely unamused.

"Well, you're not supposed to tell anyone so no." Lydia giggles as she rolls her eyes, the hat slowly being passed in your direction.

"Damn." You shake your head, acting disappointed. Liam was just too much fun to pick on.

"And remember, no gifts over ten dollars." Lydia reminds everyone of the pricing; the pricing set so everyone could afford a present and no one would have a 'better' present than anyone else.

The hat was passed to you and you took a small piece of paper, opening it to reveal Derek's name written in Lydia's pretty handwriting. A sly grin crosses your face as you already know what you're going to get him. Mason takes the hat and pulls his own piece of paper before passing it to Liam. The hat makes it way back to Lydia and the pack meeting comes to a close. You all had one week to get each other the gifts in time for the following week's pack meeting.

After the meeting, you met up with Malia and the two of you decided you'd go shopping later in the week for the Secret Santa presents. It was your first time doing a Secret Santa and you were actually rather excited. It was something that would be fun and surely something you'd remember for years to come, as with any activity the pack did together that wasn't risking your lives.

"Okay, so who did you get?" Malia asks as the two of you enter the crowded mall.

"We're not supposed to tell anyone." You remind and Malia just laughs.

"So? It's not like I'm gonna tell and we're shopping together. I got Lydia." Malia just blurts out making you chuckle.

"I got Derek."

"And what are you going to get him? Something to permanently remove the frown from his face?" Malia jokes, holding her mouth in a straight line.

"I know! I think his face is like permanently grumpy." You muse, walking into one of the stores.

"I'm so happy I don't take after that." Malia says, looking around and you just stay silent, holding a smirk knowing Malia can have quite a grumpy face, just like Derek and Peter.

"How's this?" Malia picks up a glitter change purse and you let out a soft snicker. "What? She likes glitter." Malia asks with genuine confusion.

"No, she does. I think she has one similar though." You respond, knowing Lydia did, in fact, have one but that was from the seventh grade.

"This shopping for people thing is hard." Malia says, putting the change purse back.

"We've been here five minutes."

"Yeah, exactly."

You walk over to the sunglasses section, knowing Derek had a thing with black sunglasses and he could never have enough. He might as well be Tony Stark when it comes to them.

"Are they black enough for Derek?" You joke, holding a nice pair of cheap sunglasses.

"I don't know if anything is black enough for him." Malia jokes but sends you a nod of approval. "Hey, Lydia likes lipstick."

"Yes." You raise a brow as you make your way to the counter to pay.

"Can you help pick out a color she doesn't have yet?" Malia asks.

"Sure, Lydia has a lot though. I mean, a lot." Your eyes widen as the cashier rings up the sunglasses and puts them in a black baggie for you.

"That's why I need your help." Malia states.

"I'll help." You laugh, handing over the ten dollar bill and getting a few coins back as change.

The two of you make your way over to one of the makeup kiosks. Malia looks over the blue shades and you just watch, knowing Lydia is more of a pink person but not wanting to interrupt Malia since it's the thought that counts.

"Okay, does she have this shade?" Malia points to a shade a little brighter than a navy blue.

A smile tugs at your lips. "Nope, it doesn't look familiar."

"Awesome! We're both done!" Malia cheers as she gets the lipstick and pays for it.

It was the day of the pack meeting and Scott went over the usual information, nothing out of the norm actually happening in Beacon Hills for once which meant it was time to start the Secret Santa gift exchange.

All the presents were rested under a tree in the next room, to prevent anyone from seeing who brought in which gift. Stiles and Scott got up and brought all of the gifts into the living room for everyone, they passed them out to the correct people.

You got one wrapped nicely with little Christmas trees on the silver wrapping paper. With Lydia's go ahead, everyone started opening their presents. You received a two pack of socks, reindeer and elves etched int he black and blue fabric. You smiled wide, knowing you could always use more holiday-themed socks, even if they didn't match any of your clothing. You watched Derek open your gift and he let out a soft chuckle, happy to add yet another pair of sunglasses to his collection. It warmed your heart that he seemed to genuinely like them.

Despite the abnormal shade, Lydia really liked the lipstick Malia picked out for her. Malia beamed with happiness with everyone else. Everyone sat happy with their gifts and it warmed your heart, only making you more excited to spend plenty more holiday seasons with everyone.
