Winter/holiday prompt:
17: "Open your present!"

It was finally Christmas and you were full of excitement. The day had come and was nearing its end. You spent your entire day having a nice family dinner that was filled with laughter and opening presents. You truly cherished the holiday. But now, everyone was gone and Gabe was knocking on your door.
"Merry Christmas!" You yell as you open your door and bring him for a hug, him breaking the hug to place a soft kiss on your lips.
"Merry Christmas." Gabe says with a smile as he enters your home.
"Here." You state as you walk over to your kitchen counter, him following right behind you. "There's cookies left." You give the widest smile as you offer him a plate.
"Thanks." He cheerfully takes one with blue frosting. "Got you something." Gabe pulls out a box from his hoodie pocket.
"We said we weren't getting each other anything." You shake your head but can't find a way to remove the smile from your face.
"I know, but I wanted to anyway." His face turns a soft shade of pink with his words. "Open your present!" He demands with an impatient voice.
"Fine!" You laugh, taking the box and carefully opening it. Inside is a gold chained bracelet with Gabe's name engraved in cursive. You gasped lightly as it shined beneath your kitchen lights. It was stunning. "Gabe." You look to him with absolute adornment.
"Do you like it?" He asks, biting his lip.
"I love it!" You say, quickly wrapping an arm around his neck to pull him for a hug. "And I love you." You smile, placing a kiss on his lips before he pulls away and puts the bracelet around your wrist.
